Report: MEAC voted to have MEAC/SWAC championship

I hope wherever it may be and whoever plays in the game ... it's supported to the fullest

Can this game be rotated between three cities (New Orleans, Atlanta, Houston) like the BCS National Championship game??? I do believe New Orleans and Houston have never hosted a SWAC/MEAC bowl game before, but Atlanta has.

That's always been my position, but with these crazy azz meac fan being so childish, I don't know if that would work.

They see every Black person from the Deep South including Texas as country Bamas, when in actuality a lot of them are the ones that live as if they have never heard of the term civilization. But what can you expect from individuals who were deceitfully made to believe that they were better than other Blacks just because they are not from the Deep South. The divide and conquer theory has worked beautifully on them.

Because Atlanta is to ******s as slop is to hogs ... But it is centrally located in the footprint of both conferences ...

BTW: The Hawks is ON FIRE right now and they had to do a damned Tinder promotion to get arses in the seats in the Omni/Philips Arena

The Hawks have let them folks down so much that they don't believe in this early season run. Lol.

I vote Vegas or L.A.

ESPN may dictate where. So it could end up in Orlando like the challenge which will probably go away for the bowl.

Kerr has already made it clear that the Challenge isn't going away. And to be honest, I see no reason why it should.

I really think the game would do well on the West Coast, specifically So-Cal.

Most of the bowl games that's played now arn't centrally located between the conferences that play in them.

Most teams who play in those Bowl game have a fan base who will travel anywhere in America to see their teams play. I dont see any MEAC teams fan base traveling past Atlanta for this "bowl" game....For the fickle HBCU crowd that we attract and market too it needs to be central locations for both conferences....I could even see Charlotte,NC as an option presented as well (not saying I agree with that just can see it happening)...

Well even more reason for Disney/ESPN to give their folks in the West a shot. LA in January suits me just fine.

:topic:...All I know is this, I am waiting and watching. Josh Smith singlehandedly made me give up my season books.
But right now, the Hawks are on a roll, and I really do like what I am seeing from Coach Bud and the team.
Hopefully they can keep this up and then we will see if they are able to move beyond a 1st round playoff game.

Now, as for this bowl game.....The ATL sounds good to me......LOL!

Only if Los Angeles can get a better venue for the game, which could possibly happen soon with the owner of Rams looking to move back to Los Angeles.

I agree. SoCal would support it. I know I would be all over that trip. Lol

I dont see a large MEAC and SWAC fanbase heading to LA during the Christmas Holidays right after making the trip to Houston for the SCG or where ever the MEAC championship game will be...

Not gonna happen

There are enough MEAC and SWAC fans out there already to get you 30K in the stands. Then you have the casual fans who'd just want to go.

PV vs Morehouse drew 57K a few years ago. I know damn well most of those folks didn't come from SWAC/SIAC country.

Vegas? SoCal? Do you not want people to actually go to the game? lol. Who the hell is gonna go all the way to SoCal for this game other than a few die hards and a few locals? The attendance for that ish would suck. If you actually want people to show up it's pretty clear the best given location is ATL. That's if you actually want people to show. Good luck getting a big crowd to an Alabama State & Morgan State game in Sacramento lol. And during bowl season? Good luck with that.

Why not give LA a shot? Hell I'll go to Cali twice. Plus the lady is from LA and I have a place to stay.

Kerr already stated it would be before Christmas. Our folks can't travel to La in a couple of weeks notice before Christmas. Atl is driving distance for both conferences. Now I would support the challenge in La or Vegas. Folks would have months to save up for that trip.

So you are going to take the game away from the folks who have Supported all season. Stupid with a capital S.
