This just about sums it up.

Most of yall told them what was going to happen (I was the last one to still give them a chance but I let the chips fall in place) but threads have been derailed for months with trolling. They talked about Comegy BAD and were so disrespectful.

And overhyped a 7-21 D2 coach. Bill Parcells send help

If you are going to fire Comegy, then you needed to make sure that you hire someone that is better than you fired. HBCU's have a limited number of good coaches that they can hire and you fire someone that is successful every year.

Now the same people that wanted Comegy hung is the same people complaining because the new coach that they wanted is worst. Comegy should have been kept if Harold Jackson is the best they could have done.

Following Jackson State’s 27-23 loss to Mississippi Valley State on homecoming weekend, disgruntled JSU supporters created an online petition to express their desire to have head coach Harold Jackson and AD Vivian Fuller fired.


A petition posted on the website change.org has already garnered 49 signatures as of Saturday night.

Harold Jackson is not the best we could have done, I promise you. This was a hook-up job by a small group of donors and former football players who wanted one of their buddies to be the coach. The same old heads you saw clapping in the background of his press conference. This is THEIR fault. Hopefully, they will man up and admit they made a mistake. Maybe Jackson will do the honorable thing and resign. If he really loves his alma mater, the way he claims to, he will do the right thing and quit.
 
If Harold Jackson has any dignity and really loves his alma mater the way he claims, he will do the honorable thing and resign. Just go back into retirement and live his life. Take the karate kid with him.

Y'all laughed during the Stump years and then went and did the same damn thing. I would say I hope y'all learn your lesson fast ..., but honestly, I dont.
 
Man. It must really suck to be a Jackson State fan. GSU was the sad story last season, and now JSU has just turned into a joke. I think JSU will bring in another Tuskegee man.

Yes he was when there's a buyout clause of $69k that can be used whenever they feel like. What half decent coach with any sanity would sign something like that?

No credible coach is going to take the job at Jackson State if they fire this guy after one season or in the middle of one season. That would be crazy.

That anytime minimal buyout clause is why they can't hire a credible coach to take the job. Most coaches want at least a three year job security.
