Going D-2 will at least give us more quality competition. Just ask certain schools who played D-2 schools like Arkansas-Monticello.

But those six schools struggling with APR problems are more needy of D-2 services way more than JSU. Our academic house is in order.

We all need to seriously evaluate where we stand and make the best decision -- individually and collectively -- before the Power 5 conferences forces the NCAA to decide for us.

Not quite. You'll be able to pick from a different pool but you'd have half the scholarships. Plus the D2 eligibility requirements are changing for the high school class of 2016.
