I may be wrong but if I listened to Coach Jackson's interviews as a JSU fan I would be very worried right now? How does he even communicate with the players ...I see so many potential issues you all will probably face this year...to be honest.

I just hope you guys still have a team by the time we see yall in Nov.

Dude, this man has coached Hall of Fame players and you're questioning his communication skills? That man has tons of experience in his little finger than Spady and he has good coaches around him which is even more important.
Ask Pete and Doug how important assistant coaches are.
All Jackson has to do is manage the game and he's sat in meetings with NFL coaches for decades so that shouldn't be a problem. You're just reaching.

The Southern Univeristy Football Jaguars this year will beat SWAC opponents by pounding teams with the running game that started to take form at the end of last season. You all may as well give up before the season starts because you cannot win the battle at the line of scrimmage (it's probably something in the gumbo and etoufee). When you cornballs attempt to stack the line, we're going to wreak havoc on your defense with the deepest and most skilled receivers in the FCS. You all may as well cry uncle now..........

So you'd rather ignore the losing seasons you guys had under Jones? If just counting SCG titles is all there is to it, you would've kept Jones.
Had Jones gone 8-3 for three straight years and beaten JSU all three years, he'd still be at AAMU and you know it.

Not true.. Our staffs always had coaches in waiting. We NEVER interviewed seriously for a coach until we hired **** (and that was not a real search). Big Daddy was Gordon's DC.. Gordon was a DC before he was HC.. Hughes as Big Daddy's Asst HC. ..and most of that era, we could not afford Jackson even if we had tried to open up a search. His name surfaced when **** was hired but Culberson advertised the job at 85K to keep to applications (even from Comegy) down. We pretty much hand picked Comegy since he was winner. That was not the right time to hire anyone BUT a proven winner.

Any more questions... LOL (im sure you could have asked your mom those questions.. LOL)

He was a 1-A coach making more than JSU was willing to pay...But his name did pop up on the "wish list" every time we had to hire a coach. Problem is most of our coaches have been pre-selected.. even Harold Jackson.. :lmao:

He was coaching, he just wasn't a head coach. Dude has tons of experience. What does Spady have? I'll tell you what he doesn't have. He doesn't have a QB to run his system and no running game either.
Spady's trying to fit a square peg in a round hole. He'll finally figure out that he can't run that system with Jones' players.

Spady was turned down by GSU and Southern and i am sure he would have applied for the JSU job too! :lol: ... and we would have turned that azz down as well. :D

yeah I could have but since Coach Jackson is her classmate..I wanted an unbiased opinion LOL :lol:
 
but forreal I just hope that yall don't do Jackson wrong and cause him health issues..i'm very concerned about that cause the minute the man starts losing left and right..yall will forget he is alumni and here comes the brutal harassment
