If you all don't live up to the "hype" (as unwarranted as it is), no one will ever fall for it again. You all better make the most of this..
 
It's not where you start....it is where you finish! I am eager to see how the swac will look this year, last year the entire swac was pitifully weak across the board. Hopefully with new coaches at a few programs, the competition level will pick up! I happen to think the people who think they have great teams, will only be decent because the level of competition will be up. Maybe the teams that think they are decent, will be great. This is the Swac, who knows!!!

This year really won't look much different than last year.

You have never been in this position tho. Before you pretty much only had to get past JSU and sometimes AlaState. Now you have to get past AlaState, Alcorn and JSU... and Comegy is NOT your friend. He owns you and even at Valley, he will prob get better talent than wants to go to AAMU.

No one said a person would choose Valley over AAMU but Comegy knows where to look. Spady may not. Comegy been in this recruiting game for a LONG time. Its the ONLY thing he does well.

..and why should JSU be worried about Valley? :confused:

what last 5 games do you speak of?

Alcorn puts no type of fear in A&M heart....last year yall were supposed t be good and you see what happened we took that W ..even with all the problems we were having

Like who? AAMU and Valley MIGHT improve a little and PV should improve but no one else will improve enough to make a difference. SU will take a dip but they will do okay since they are in the weak division.

Alcorn's problem is that they focus too much on JSU and Southern. If they don't stay focused, the BAMAs gonna tap that azz again. :lol:

JSU should be worried because Comegy knows the players he recruited to JSU...you could almost say Comegy is still coach at JSU ..the guy has his stamp on the program and until Jackson and staff change it ..Comegy has control

Well since AAMU and Valley are improving, wouldn't JSU be taking a dip also since you have to replace your QB, Cox, Pendleton, etc.?

uuum no.. Comegy being on the OTHER sideline is a plus. :lol: Our players will know Comegy's entire defensive playbaok. It's not like he is gonna change it. Comegy does not know much about the Xs and Os of the game. As long as our coaches think and properly use our talent, we good! especially against Comegy.

Nope becasue our QB was not good to begin with and our offense and defensive coaching is MUCH better. We really had two of the worst co-ordinators in the conference. We just had the talent to cover up how sad they were. With this talent being coached, you won't see any dip from us!

SU's coaching will remain bad.

We def know who we lost but we also know that the offensive system that we installed is better suited for our players. We have two good QBs and our WRs will be open all day. Just wait til you see this offense in action... LOL

Thats a MUCH better example because I DO believe that Jones could gameplan IF he had to. I don't think Comegy can. That says a lot considering how Comegy ran Jones outta the SWAC and outta the SIAC.

Hmmm...replace a second string qb, ok ivy. Pendleton? OK dwill. Cox? Our entire secondary will have to pitch in instead of depending on one guy to lock a wr down.

What last 5 games you think I am talking about? You made the statement A&M owns Alcorn, why make that statement when you are 2-3 the 5 years against Alcorn.
