Lupita, Wow!


I didn't read the responses, but am I the only one that's just not on the Lupita hype train? I mean she looks nice, has an avg body... but honestly in ATL I see better looking dark skinned women on a daily. They just act as if she's the first attractive dark skinned woman to ever hit the streets.

Hey it's like being at work and a fairly attractive new employee starts. Every dude's gonna look and give the thumbs up (discreetly) even though we've all seen women who look better on the streets. Guys like to check out the new girl.

Yep. That's happened at every job I've been at. The best looking woman in the office gets made out to be a beauty queen in the office, but just average on the streets.
 
Has Bernard specified their gender? The name would have you believe they are a guy naturally but I don't think they ever specified one way or another.
 
Yall some true flip flop nikkers. Yeah we might joke on light skin around here, but we don't think light skin folks are the dirt of the earth. Everyone is entitled to their views, but this dude is something special. Not only does he go out of his way to degrade dark skin folks, he makes sure he lets you know dark skin is evil. If yall agree with him you got a complex and slave master view too. Plus we just ignore Bane, he just wants him a white woman. He got that Becky flavor juice going on. :emlaugh:

I'm sorry but I have never been stuck on "shades"
Not knocking anyone because you like what you like but I just don't get it. If a woman look good, she look good to me.................the shade of black don't matter.

I would take Lupita deep chocolate sexy azz just as fast as I would take Shania Lathem lite skinned sexy azz. I would walk down the street with my shirt open, exposing the "angry bird" chest. You would not be able to tell me NOTHING as K. West said. :lol:

Nothing wrong with having preferences. But I won't put down the opposite of what I like to make my point of what I like.

Saying someone, especially if you're of the black race, is just stupid to say. We ALL have beautiful skin: from the fair skin to the dark chocolate. Calling some red, high yella (which you know are NOT considered insults among us) is not the same of insulting of saying "Too Dark"--- as if the skin is ugly.


Stupid remark and Bane (styles or whatever his name is/was) is just as ignant to agree with him/her. Self hate at its worst....

I didn't put her down. I just agreed that she was TOO DARK FOR ME, not anyone else. Misty Copeland is my type of chick.

You don't get it. Saying Too Dark sounds like self hate. Say that to yourself out loud as a black man about another black person being "too dark"; it sounds HORRIBLE.

Too dark for me to date woman. I don't hate her because she's too dark. Hell I got some black azz folks in my family. I got an uncle who is black as tar. Some folks don't date/like light skin people. Now do you get it?
