Would It Be In SWAC's Best Interest to Send Regular Season Champs to Tourney?

Earle,

I don't think so. You have two (maybe 3) teams in this league that don't play passive on the big stage. The rest of those teams don't have any heart and are defeated before they get on the court. That's the way I see it. I could say more but will leave it alone.

How could it be the SWAC's best interest when this season's "best" Men and Women teams were ineligible for the tourney??????

It would be our best interest for each school to clean our own house before talking about someone else's. Cause right now, our entire neighborhood looks like SH!T!!!

Instead of trying to "fix" 1 small thing(who wins the tourney), let's fix the obvious thing....terrible APR, poor administration, lack of alumni support, lack of fans at home events, poor attendance at conference tourneys, low funding, etc.

I think the overall play in the SWAC is not good enough to get the guys prepared for tournament. Southern may have made a slight difference as they have a couple of shooters. TSU had no one tonight besides Murray except for an occasional flash from Rodriquez. I think also it would help if we get another week off before the tourney.

To provide a meaningful answer to this question, it would be important for one to provide a strategic plan on the direction the SWAC and its member institutions are seeking to undertake over a given period of time.
