If you JSU folks don't stop crying like babies. You JSU was in every thread laughing and downing other schools coaches, now the heat is on yall you can't take it.

Cee, you shole is right. Had ANY other swac school had gone to the nursing home and wheeled out a 68 year old relic with a losing record, we all know the jsu folks would be having a field day. But since its them who made this hire, some of them crying and now wanna pretend like folks piling on jsu. Heck, i could see if this hire and that horrendous press conference was months ago. But it was just yesterday. That stunt that noise talka pulled with all those topics was sad as hell and nothing but him crying. :smh:

It will affect attendance bigtime. The older alums are the main supporters of JSU. They are excited. Our football players are excited. When the staff gets in at the end of the week, we will all be excited.

THIS is exciting. All we wanted was a coach better than Comegy. We got that.

But you know Barlow is STILL your coach, right? You beat JSU om 2010 and 2011 simply based on a lack of JSU coaching. We are about to hire a staff with some sense and ya'll are scared to admit that you are scared.

How many times has a team beat JSU because we are in man coverage on 3rd and 25? We been asking our DC to play a zone for 8 years. You know when he decided to play a zone? In the 2013 SCG. It actually worked but our kids were not used it and started blowing assignments. Going forward, you are about to see some real coaching and that is gonna put ya'll way behind JSU.

But you always said we were not good anyway. Wait til we get in the studs these new coaches are gonna bring in.

No, I mean better as in overall better. See, the only thing you all can say is that dude is old. So what? As a leader of this team, he will run circles around Comegy. Comegy didn't like to interact. Comegy as quiet and stubborn. Comegy would not listen. The only thing I can give Comegy is that he kept the best talent in BCF in Jackson. He just could not coach it. Comegy out-talents teams but at his core, he and his assistants were ALL division 2 coaches.

Comegy was also fake.. not intentionally but Comegy was about Comegy. Jackson is about JSU. This is the type of coach we deserved. Sure, we could have gone out and got another coach for $260K but we would be looking like Alcorn wondering when he was gonna leave. We have someone who is true to JSU and who agreed to a low buyout if things don't work out. But everything will work out because his heart is in the right place. Unlike Bell, he has no agenda to prove himself right. He wants to see JSU with the best and with SWAC titles... and when he decides to leave, you better believe, we will have a coach ready to step in the very next day. THAT is JSU football. That is what carried us from Bob Hill to Coach Hughes.

I'm done crying, but Harold Jackson's press conference was a joke! Jackson was chewing gum and he looked liked a homeless person wearing a suit.
