Great hire for Valley and the SWAC. Best hire made by a SWAC school this off season. Look for Valley to compete for a SWAC title sooner than most expect.

Apparently you don't know Itta Bena, MS!!! Lol not Mississippi Valley State University I've always been told never to go into Itta Bena doing my teenage years and college at Mississippi Valley State. I'm sure you wouldn't know though. Just know it's not a place to get caught slipping.

JR, where did I defend the hire? Did I say I support the hire. I only said that according to some, this was the plan all along. Ya'll editorialize too much.

Now, I do think that ANY coach at JSU can win 7-8 games without trying. Jackson is a JSU alum. He is not ****. While I am not defending the hire, I won't be pessimistic either. WE ARE JACKSON STATE.

I am sure Jackson would step down before it let's the program be run into the ground.

Why are you worrying about my HC. Don't you know that the whole EAST just upgraded? Ya'll been owned by Hopson. You got lucky vs Barlow.. and now AAMU and Valley bout to whoop ya'll. Grambling might even beat ya'll.
