You guys ever been on twitter and read the FAMU vs. Florida State debate? It happens everytime. Its like the House n*****s vs. The Field n*****s. Sad because the truth of matter is Florida State would never help out FAMU but it is what it is.

I for one know racism will never die but the young generation must know how to play the game.
 



It is what it is...it's typically sparked by a FAMU student pulling for UF or Miami...and it's ONLY between the black students from both schools...then some kid from FSU making a comment about how FAMU students can't get into FSU...then some FAMU student saying how the black kids at FSU wouldn't get in without the Summer C.A.R.E program...then everything goes down the drain.

It happens EVERY TIME FSU plays an instate rival or loses...what FSU kids fail to realize is that most FAMU students are from Miami, Palm Beach, Ft. Lauderdale, Orlando, Tampa, or Jacksonville...they are naturally Miami or Florida fans. The black FSU kids take offense. What's even crazier is that FSU kids come to FAMU every Friday for Set Friday, Homecoming, or the Fraternity/Sorority probates...and they come to FAMU for grad school or take Co-Op classes...while FAMU students do the same. YOu would think that it would end after a while, but it never will...and this is one reason why FAMU and FSU ONLY play in softball and volleyball...the last time FAMU played FSU in men's basketball, a huge brawl broke out. That was back in 1991

The twitter arguments happen so often that the alums don't even get involved anymore...it's typically the kids new to the game

It's truly the black FSU kids acting superior to the FAMU kids, while the FAMU kids call the black FSU kids sellouts...but they all party and drink together at the end of the night

As you can see from my messages, I pull for FSU every so often

SU understands. Every time LSU loses and SU wins, LSU fans and students feel a need to attack SU. It got down right nasty on twitter after SU beat UAPB and LSU lost to Ole Miss.

Actually he is correct about that. I wish Ole Piss was in Jackson and it would be the same way. If you think they like JSU winning when they lose then you are not paying attention. They wish bad on y'all just like a lot of LSU folks do us. Those black kids at Ole Piss look down on JSU folks as well.

That stuff has been going on for at least 40 years particularly among college students. Hopefully one grows out of it and just be happy that an AA has gone to any college and succeeded in their endeavor.

I beg to differ. Jackson State could go undefeated every year and the folks at OM and MSU wouldn't give a damn. Is "winning" in the SWAC really winning? They wouldn't care or be impressed.

I also know many obnoxious JSU alums who think their HBCU education is superior to another black person's PWC education. As if the "black experience" at a HBCU made them super black or something. It's laughable and utterly ridiculous, but there are HBCU snobs also.

That's in a little brother or little cousin kind of way. It's not hateful or spiteful the way some HBCU and PWC blacks go after each other. As JROCK said, hopefully we'll get to a point where we're just glad another black person got an education. But, some folks truly feel that where they went to school makes them better. It's sad. :shame:

I still think a good defense will shut their offense down. All we have to do is turn the game into an ugly slugfest in Gainesville. Also, Michigan State is looking good up there. They should play your Buckeyes in the Big Ten Championship Game.

True.......You have folks that would like the S.U./Gram situation to be different than it really is....Hell a great deal of the families have mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, cousins etc. going to the rival school. Now it's some smacking going on and we don't like losing to one another but at the end of the day as a rule of thumb very few hate with passion or think we're superior....now there are exceptions to every rule. :lol: :emlaugh:

Wouldn't be the first time a team was upset by their hated rival on the road. Besides, a blowout loss to FSU would spell the end for Muschamp.

jagfan is right. Good or bad, we produce some cocky mofos. While them Ole Miss sisters may think that, they keep that isht to themselves for the most part. JSU alum think we run the state and are the isht :lol:... Don't let someone bring up Southern Miss, JSU peeps will go in on them. :lol:
