I think so too since it was their homecoming and they are a decent size FBS school. I can only post what they have listed.

I don't think they will be radically different but if you look at the date, the NCAA haven't updated the site yet for 11/2 (I looked at it earlier today).

Could these numbers be proof checked before posting. Number seems to start gaining a pattern of being off. Looking forward to the improved quality of information.

Dude, the homecoming game would've put JSU past su and even moreso, the Alcorn game. It is what it is.

True. I still expect about 45,000 or more for the Alcorn vs JSU game however, Alcorn and the AAMU game only drew about 7k. Not good for Alcorn especially with their team a few wins of possibly going to the championship.

Yeah, that was a low number, then again, AAMU probably only brought abut 500 or so....if that many.

with all the posting that you and other JSU folks done, leading up to these weeks of play..posting pics of the players in the locker with the coach...laughing and hugging, with captions of champions etc and stuff..yall posting how yall are blowing out any comp out in this conference..hanging 50 plus on folks, but in reality if Alcorn beat PV (which they will) and beat you guys...(which they will)...How bad would you feel from a fan point...and knowing that the ether will await from the folks on this board, but besides that...Will this give you a reason for Comegy to be on his way out...real talk...How secure is dude job

Let's be realistic here for a second Bighead... Comegy just won the SWAC East, will likely clinch it again on Saturday and have a shot at another title. Our AD gets a new sexual harassment lawsuit each month. Comegy is not going anywhere. JSU fans will talk isht on TSPN win, lose, or draw. It is what it is. A loss against Alcorn will not get him fired.

Comegy's job is safe for now, but his legacy will take a major hit if he doesn't make it to the SCG and win it.
As far as Alcorn winning it's next two games, especially when it couldn't even beat lowly AAMU, that's highly unlikely.

It's not the visiting fans job to pack the home team stadium. I thought Alcorn would at least crack 15,000 for this game.

It's really not a big deal anymore. The #s Wouldn't change much if he reported what everyone else thinks the attendance is.
60% of the conference averages under 10k
Only 40% average above 10k (JSU/Bama are in that 40% without homecoming #s)
Alcorn is ranked dead last at 4k and they have a winning season.
Schools with losing seasons average above and some double Alcorn's average attendance.
THE Valley is averaging more than A Winning Alcorn. Why?
Grambling leads the 60% pack at 8k and they're on their 3rd coach this season. Had a losing streak and a feud between players & the administration. But they double Alcorn's, winning, attendance....
Pv is winning and they average below a terribly bad Grambling.
Over half the conference can't average at least 10k

I hear some Alcorn fans are still boycotting games because of the White coach. Perhaps there's some truth to that. Oh well....

I agree. Comegy job is safe. He ain't going nowhere. Actually JSU would be dumb to fire him. I think he has done a real good job with this team. He has faced losing his promising young QB to injury and adjusted. He has a young defense that has played well in most games. Definitely enough to be undefeated in the SWAC. He has a good nucleus of players returning next season so it makes no sense at all to let him go. This is one of Comegy's better coaching jobs since he has been at JSU. Now if for some reason he loses to Alcorn or loses in the SCG. I am sure their will be some JSU folks ready to run him off Lynch Street. But I think the administration is smart enough to not push him out the door based on that kind of reaction to losses.
It's not like the SWAC is loaded with coaching gurus. LOL. Comegy is the most accomplished Coach in the SWAC, albeit most happened before he got to this conference. But it isn't like he has sucked either. Just had a few seasons were folks felt he fell short of expectations which are high for JSU football every year. It is how it is in Jacktown. Always been that way. So any coach that would replace him would go under scrutiny right away as well. They expect titles in Jackson. So far that is really the big knock on Comegy is he hasn't won but 1 title and lost two SCGs.

I understand that, but having a team there in ship but not winning it, but winning division titles or in the running..should make a fan base frustrated to say the least. It's so much winning you can do before you get the axe. Granted this conference doesn't hold weight and I can't see yall bringing in another coach that's going to keep yall in this position, that's why I was curios to see how you and other JSU fans feel about making it to the 'ship' (last year) and if yall was to lose the EAST with having alot of success this year. How would yall feel about him being there for the long run.
