IF Doug can Sue Gram why not JSU!!!

Lets see..............
At least 30,000 to 35,000 paying customers in town for homecoming at $30 to $70 per ticket. Parking at Memorial $10 per car x about 15,000. Unsold concessions, unsold JSU products at venue, etc, etc.

JSU will start ticket refunds today.......... Clarion Ledger.
Jackson State University football fans can go to Veterans Memorial Stadium or the ticket office at Lee E. Williams Athletics and Assembly Center from noon to 6 p.m. today for a refund due to the cancellation of Saturday's homecoming game

Dude do you not read Lol

I said if it was that serious...Why give a refund back to yall...why not charge yall parking? you mentioned yalls still tailgated (had 30,000 folks) and what I don't get is don't they still sale things outside,?, what the game has to do with selling H.C. stuff (JSU products) outside the stadium...lol...yall ngas are just mad lol..get out cho feelings..and move on

Now some business entities around Jackson that stood to gain from the crowd can sue, if they can show receipts and projections of economic impact on their business.
as if Gram had any contract or obligation whatsoever to the corner liquor store or the guy selling tshirts.
:retard:

People purchased a ticket for the Grambling STate University Tigers vs. Jackson State University Tigers (that's what the ticket said). They did not see that match-up, therefore they are due a refund.

That's just like if someone buys a ticket to see Michael Jackson...and instead you get Tito Jackson. You didn't get the service you paid for so you are due a refund.

We still have to pay the people working at Memorial (inside and outside), security, etc. So we supposed to just eat that loss huh?! You out your rabid ass mind!! :lmao:

I doubt very seriously JSU will sue Grambling.
People got the attitude of just moving on to the next JSU game.

You know how these schools upper mgnt stick together when shat like this is going on. Sueing Gram would make us look like bullies, fighting over Grams scraps.

I agree Frat. Now the Jackson business community can do what they want if they feel they lost out on some revenue. They can sue. But I don't think Meyers is going to instruct the JSU lawyers to start litigation on this. If she does, the National Press would crucify JSU saying they know Gram is broke and now trying to put the screws to them. It would not be a good look. Just another thing for mofos to talk about. I would imagine JSU is thinking we got enough isht to worried about with the TFO as yall call her. LOL. That still cracks me up when you guys post that. Anyway, I think JSU will move on and sure they ain't happy about it. Maybe Duer will set the schedule up with Gram having to come back next year and stay on the schedule to come back in 2015 to go along with the 20K fine.

Now what might happen is the Council of Presidents will go back and amend the bylaws to protect their schools from this happening again with raising fines and punishments. But that will not correct this situation.

Exactly Lmao

ngas act like GSU caused sales to go down...nothing against yall but they act like GSU was bringing 10-14 bus loads of ppl down there lol...they claim stuff went on as if there was a game...sooooo what's the fuss lmao...

clowns just in their feelings and want to be seen/heard lol...move on...get out cho feelings

My question is sue for what???

What are you suing for???

Tell me something...How did JSU lose money?? lets be real about the situation...Let's say GSU brought 20-30 fans down there, if that...most of the attendance would have been JSU fans...I mean yall are so hound about money, yall should have let the university kept the funds from yall purchased tickets if yall are so bound and hound on the money...it aint like GSU was sending 8 bus loads of fans there smh..yall claim things went along just fine..so losing how much money again?? when only a hand few of GSU fans would have came down..smh...
A simple approach to determining what JSU lost is to average the financial gain for the last (insert number) of homecomings. Regardless of what Gram brings, JSU didn't get revenues from its own fans because there was no game. No parking revenues. No concessions. No nothing. And you know there are those who could really give a damn about JSU and gonna want that refund that's offered. Our athletic department depends on football to make the budget. Football depends on homecoming to help make that budget. That's just the obvious.

ummm, the game was canceled on Friday. Yall chose to proceed on. (actually, I applaud yall for what yall did this wknd. Honestly, I do damn, mh applauding jsu. damn. :retard: ) but Gram had nothing to do with yall "paying the people working at Memorial (inside and outside), security, etc" for Saturday

JR

why would Jackson business sue GSU lol..that's like Bowes suing GSU for not coming to our H.C. we all know if GSU doesn't show for our H.C...Bowes (when he was open) would still get their money...or the Popeyes on scene...I mean like I said they claim folks were still out there like it was GameDAy, what does GSU not showing up have do with any of their financial woes lol...they juss looking for something to complain about...they feel like they have a voice lmao..move on...

Only a clown would think money can only be made off the 50 people Gram would bring. Really dude???

I know right. We should have just said to all those folks that drove from out of town and were already parked at Memorial Friday morning, y'all gotta leave. We sending security home so you can't stay here. That makes a lot of sense.

I'm so glad JSU actually cares about its supporters. :emlaugh:

Please re-read what I said...

Yall are so concerned about the money...why give a refund back then?? let the university keep the money for one...why not charge for parking, if yall claim yall still had 30,000 ppl tailgating....why not charge for parking and last time I checked..JSU business are located on the OUTSIDE of the stadium and even if so, yall claim their was a scrimmage so I'm sure concession and all that other crap could have still gotten sold LOL...yall just wanna feel apart of the situation lol...again childish if you ask me..

Because unlike Louisiana and YOUR SCHOOL, we don't screw over our fans and alumni like ya'll would do.

Charge them for what? parking at memorial when no game was scheduled. Tell them because no game was scheduled, tough for you if you spent good money on a ticket. You honestly sitting here typing that JSU should have charged people more money for a product that was not delivered because of some simps in Louisiana.

I can't believe you implying that JSU should screw their own financial long term lifeblood. I'm back to overlooking SU posters. Ya'll just post to be posting not realizing how stupid you sound.

Only a clown would think money can only be made off the 50 people Gram would bring. Really dude???

Explain to me how JSU lost out on money?? when yall claim things went along as planned?? I'll wait....you really think if GSU played after all what had happened during the week...GSU was going to pack the place huh lol..dude get outta yo feelings and move on...makes no sense to sue a school..and gain what again...how do you even put a price tagged on the amount you're sue for lol...dumb ass logic..but I see who I"m posting towards though

at the end of the day..yall look like kids/acting childish talkin about suing Grambling lol...feelings may I add...move on..

*feelings*

Feelings about what?!

LIke you said in the other thread...it's done. JSU is fine, we came out looking like a SUPER HBCU because we made fine Cognac out of those sour grapes Gram gave us. But at the end of the day...if JSU lost money, I hope they recoup it from GRam.

It's nothing personal (said that wayyyy up above)...strictly business.

Bruh so it's GSU fault cuz yall were too dumb not to charge for 'No parking, or No concessions lol...stop it bruh...your feelings seeking out

which is it? Yall are fine or did yall and every business, vendor, tshirt hawker, etc in Jackson DEPEND on that money from homecoming and will be suing to get every nickel yall can from Gram?

Wow!!

You must have fell off that "high" road and bumped your head.

This statement doesn't even make sense. So are we fine or did every business in Jackson depend on that money?! :retard:

What does one have to do with the other?

Nothing business about that...yall wasn't business-minded this weekend..yall piggy-backing off another school...instead of making the proper adjustments that should have been made if yall wanted to retain a win in the finance department lol

Yall give a refund back..(but had a scrimmage and halftime show)..yall don't charge folks to park, but let folks tail-gate, yall don't sale JSU products becuz GSU didn't show, yall don't sale concession becuz GSU didn't show...Yall local Popeyes and BK and other JSU businesses lost money, stop frying chicken becuz GSU didn't show, yet yall had 30,000 folks out there...lol..sounds and looks like to me GSU wasn't the fools in this situation

Why would JSU not charge for parking since folks were in the lot tailgating anyway? Makes no sense.

Because we don't screw over our fans and alumni.
Why is that so difficult for you SU people to understand. We are not going to charge people for a service not rendered. Ya'll might screw your people like that but we not.........Financial hit or not.
