What was the most heartbreaking loss you suffered as a fan of your team?

GoodFella

"The Real McCoy"
It could be any team from college to pros. One that sticks out to me would have to be 2008 Finals when Boston won against the Lakers.

Florida vs. Alabama in the SEC 2009 Championship Game. It was supposed to be Tim Tebow's last magical season that would be capped with a 3rd BCS title and first undefeated season in school history. Alabama ruined that dream, and we had to settle for seeing Tebow have a scrimmage against Cincinnati in the Sugar Bowl. lol

Football: SU vs Alcorn 1994 - That loss hurt....point blank.

Baseball: Rangers vs Cardinals in Game 6 - The Rangers were 1 strike from the World Series 2 innings straight!!!!!:kaioken::kaioken::kaioken:
I was just married and my wife saw me throw the remote at the t.v......lol. She was like !!!

Every game of the 2012 Grambling football season, sitting there and watching your team lose week after week, breaks your heart a little every week !

A tie.

2010 NBA FINALS the fLakers defeating Boston in game 7 of the NBA Finals.
Superbowl 45, Seeing the Packers beat My Steelers.

Forgot about 2004.

That one didn't sting me that much for some reason (unusual for such a big game). We split with them that year. We beat them in Montgomery (when they were trying to steal the game from us with the time clock). And then they won it fair and square in BHAM. I always thought if Dean Pete would have coached the 2004 Bama State team, they would not have loss any conference games.

(I attended both of those games too)

The 1999 I-AA Semifinals against Jim Tressel and Youngstown State

FAMU kicked their asses up and down the field for 59 minutes...all we had to do was run the ball and we had a trip to the National Title game wrapped up...we blew a 24-10 lead in the 2nd half and ended up losing 27-24...that was a true heartbreaker

SU losing to Nicholls St in Thibodaux in 1994. We were inside the 5 YD line about to score when my homeboy said "watch Eric fumble the snap". He fumbled the snap. EVERYONE in our section wanted to beat my homeboy's arse. LOL

It was the week after that Alcorn loss and the week before another heartbreaking loss (FAMU).

1994 Alcorn, still can't believe ole dude let the WR get behind him :smh: . We asked him at school the Monday after wtf, and he said he didn't think McNair could throw the ball that far :retard: . But I also had a classmate from NO named Lyle who had to play because of a injury. Dude was getting burned all day  . The commentator said he was getting beat like a drum  . One of our classmates taped the game and brought the tape to school. We drove the ish out of dude  .

2000 baseball regional vs LSU. SU had the lead and lost in the 9th inning.

1996 TSU lose to the defending NCAA basketball champs, Arkansas, by 1 point in the first sound of tournament. We make history with a win.
