What was the most heartbreaking loss you suffered as a fan of your team?

December 10, 1994 (my bday)-UAPB loses the NAIA Championship Game by 1 point in PB!
UAPB 12 vs Northeastern State University 13 (I cried til I got the hiccups and then got a headache)

September 13, 1997-UAPB (second place in the West & back in the SWAC) goes down by 3 points to SU (#1 West & conference); UAPB 33 vs SU 36 (3 OT)

October 1, 2011-after leading at the half 27-7, UAPB defense decides to stop playing and loses by 1 point in Normal, AL
UAPB 27 vs AAMU 28

 :emlaugh: (I'm sorry but that's funny as L)

Oh I forgot the last time Pete went to Uapb. Sorry Lioness, but it's always some shady shat happens when SU goes up there :smh: . SU blocks the kick and then the refs throwing a celebration penalty on SU and letting PB kick again. :smh:

Don't be sorry; as far as I'm concerned, that's a two-way street because shady stuff happens to my folks, too, regardless of where we play the Jags( Little Rock and/or Mumford). We haven't forgotten all those TDs that were called back on us, and refs calling too many players on the field but the tape showing otherwise.

It's always been controversy when we meet up; no bad blood or bad feelings on my part though.:swink::wavey:

Not to me; it was my birthday and we had just got back from a death penalty 2 years prior. That game was emotional for me, but.....oh well.....

I knew I could make you laugh.....even though....

Say homie...

Fall 88...Baker vs Natchitoches Central. We were undefeated and get to the 3rd game of the playoffs and Dwayne Dumars ate us alive.

That one hurted for a long time.

Try 2001 Baker vs. John Curtis watching our undefeated #1 ranked team get thrashed by those top recruits at John Curtis. We just knew we were finally going to win that modern day state title.

I think the whole city went to that game. We had this huge impromptu pep rally during school to send them off, and they just choked big time in the game. We didn't even get to play the fight song because they were stumbling and bumbling all over the place. I got over the loss, but the recent playoff separation has re-opened that wound. lol

I was there. A lot of my old teammates and classmates went. Their Linebackers were looking our OL in the face. Howel should have had yall in the gun vs having Allen under center.
