I'm watching it also and I feel bad for this young lady. Her prep team didn't do a good job of getting her prepared. :smh:
I had to run out, but from the little I did see today, its more of the same today that it was yesterday. I would have thought if they hadn't prepared her before yesterday, somebody would surely "coach" her some before she took the stand again today. Doesn't look like it though.

I'm reading it online...for the folks watching it online...are the commentators talking about the jurors reaction to her testimony? Do they seem annoyed that she has an attitude?

They aren't showing the jurors. The people commenting on the jury are in the courtroom.

Got this off my FB newsfeed:

Defense lawyer: May we approach the bench?

Judge: NO! This is my last time telling you to stop using her response from your last questiopn in your next question

****************

seems like the judge is getting annoyed by West too!! HOpefully the Jury is as well!

Told you. He is continuing to ask her the same schit. That is annoying and I see why she is getting aggravated. The jurors are probably as well and I see Nelson is pissed off as well. She was yesterday.

11:06 a.m. ET: West is displaying an aerial photo of the Retreat at Twin Lakes for the jury. Jeantel said she does not recognize the picture, and does not know the lay out of Zimmerman's neighborhood.

******

I'm in Chicago and I figured she didn't know the layout of the neighborhood. She doesn't live there...DUH!!! :smh:

Did he really? :lmao: He is trying to put words in her mouth.

11:17 a.m. ET: West is showing Jeantel a transcript, and she is reviewing it.

11:14 a.m. ET: West asked Jeantel if she heard a noise that sounded like someone was being hit.

"Trayvon got hit," said Jeantel.

West shot back, "You don't know that do you?"

"No sir," said Jeantel.

West asked, "You don't know if Trayvon got hit, do you?"

"No sir," said Jeantel.

West asked, "You don't know if Trayvon at that moment and take his fist and drive it into George Zimmerman's face, do you?"

"No sir," said Jeantel.

Zimmerman is going to get off if it comes down to this witness.

The defense is making her look like a liar and not credible.. this is sad

I disagree. She lied about her age because she was an 18 year old sophomore in high school. She did not give all the info to the parents, but when she talked to the police she told them everything because "they are law enforcement".

She also lied about going to the wake/funeral and something about going to the hospital.

even though I can't find who she told those lies to...Trayvon's family or to her friend girl that went to the wake/funeral.:noidea:

Yeah she lied to her friend about that and said she didn't want to go after she realized she was the last person to talk to him.

The hospital... last year the state asked her "did you go to the hospital" and she said "yes". She actually only went (or called?) to a doctor's office, but she did have contact with a doctor.

12:08 a.m. ET: West wants to Jenteal to guess how much time passed from the noise that sounded like to the noise that sounded like people rolling in the grass. Jeantel said, "I don't know, sir."

12:05 a.m. ET: De La Rionda has made multiple objections to West's questions as being repeatitive.

12:01 p.m. ET: West asked Jenteal how much time past from the moment she heard someone get hit, and the noise that sounded like people were rolling around in the wet grass. Jenteal said she did not know how much time pasted between those two moments.

11:58 a.m. ET: Jenteal said she thought she could hear people rolling around on wet grass.

11:55 a.m. ET: West play another part of the recording of the interview for the jurors. On the recording, Jenteal said the last thing she heard was the sound of someone getting hit.

11:51 a.m. ET: West is going to play the recording of Jenteal's interview with De La Rionda. It is not clear what she was saying on the recording, because it sounded like at one point she said she couldn't hear Martin.

Jenteal told West she could hear Martin that it was Martin.

According to my FB newsfeed the Judge is staying on West...

12:18 p.m. ET: Jenteal she heard a "bump" over the phone, when describing the sound someone getting hit.

12:15 p.m. ET:

West asked, "You don't know whether the man was approaching Trayvon at that point and getting closer or whether Tryavon was approaching the man and getting closer?"

"Trayvon would have told me he would call me back, sir. If he were was going to approach him, sir," said Jenteal.

12:12 p.m. ET: West is asking Jenteal about wind noises she heard over the phone. She said the wind made her think he was running or walking at that point.

******

Smart answer to the question...

Trayvon would have told her, "i'll call you back"...if he was about to approach/talk to Zimmerman!! #BOOM

12:23 p.m. ET: The attorneys are at a sidebar with the judge.

12:20 p.m. ET: "If he was going to confront the man he would of told me I am about to confront the man and see what he wants. He did not tell me that, sir. He just told me he tried to get home, sir. But the man was still following him, sir," said Jenteal.

Someone told me the attorney actually asked the question, "what does wet grass sound like? and Jenteal's response was... "wet grass"!!!

I think educated folks in our community don't have common sense. She is basically playing the defense attorney. He keeps asking the same questions and she has not changed her answer. She is only telling him to go fuk himself basically. He is getting nothing out of her but the same exact answers. Very poor and useless attorney.

Or a smart girl acting dumb when it suits her

I thought it was just me. I've watched some of the videos and Zimmerman's attorney keeps saying things like; "well anyway" or "in any case". With phrases like these, if this were my attorney I'd have issues.

This chick speaks she speaks 3 languages and folks on facebook and twitter can't even speak correct English.

She said Zimmerman put his hand on his head similar to what the other witness said who had the dramatic 911 call. She said he got up, and instead of showing signs of staggering, and being dizzy or anything he was walking upright. If your head was banged on the concrete, wouldn't you have some type of headaches or not be able to walk straight up?
