So WHAT if the SWAC Presidents Choose to Not Ban Teams This Year Due to APR

I knew all along you couldn't show anything on the NCAA website, in all of their databases. You couldn't show it "three years ago" and you can't show it now. And the reason you can't is because it doesn't exist.

stop popping off. It aint necessary.

MH,

This is TP so can you do likewise and find in the NCAA handbook where it states that teams are banned by the NCAA from conference tournaments and championships due to APR. Then again, don't waste your time. It's not there. I'm right. You are wrong. Case closed. :lmao:

UMMM, nobody has ever argued that point about "conference tournaments and championships". Don't start making stuff up now. sheesh!

You know full well that the whole argument was if the SCG is considered post season.

...as it relates to APR, it's not post-season
...as it relates to post-season play in football (ie playoffs, heritage bowl, etc..) it is NOT considered post-season by the NCAA.

To the conference:

...for the purpose of determining a champ, it IS post-season event.

So there is a yes and a no to the question but the WHOLE discussion was abt APR and if the SCG was post-season for that purpose. So don't go trying to change the subject.

.

..and that is a LIE. YOU all were saying that the NCAA does not distinguish between a conference or NCAA sponsored post-season.

:smh::smh::retard:

Exactly. This is the internet. We can look up your old posts. Besides, why else would you argue that the SCG was a part of APR, if you were not arguing post season conference tournaments and championships? I think you and fire need to have a conference call.

Point that out in the NCAA handbook.

You point it out where it says otherwise.. LOL

You can't. We been thru that YEARS ago when they changed the rule for Heritage Bowl to allow the SCG winner. I don't need to post anything. ALL of the evidence..including the UConn article... shows I'm right.. ya'll wrong. I been closed this case. If ya'll got proof otherwise, post it. Until then, I will take the word of the NCAA rep and the actions of the college presidents who take action on APR as it relates to conferences. Do the actions of the college Presidents support ya'll or me. Thought so.

Problem is TP the MEAC participates in the Playoffs and the SWAC has a Championship Game...

Dude, you don't even know how that relates to this discussion but let's assume I know where you were trying to go. The MEAC and SWAC teams are banned from the playoffs if they have low APR. So on the off chance that a SWAC teams gets a playoff invite, if the NCAA banned them from post-season, they can't go and neither can the MEAC champ. BUT if the MEAC sanctions a MCG, the Presidents would have to vote to ban teams from that because it is not a NCAA sanctioned post-season event that leads to a national champion.

Why did the SWAC have to vote to ban SU and JSU if the NCAA supposedly already banned them according to the rule?

They won't answer that. Oh, they said, the SWAC didn't have to vote. They just voted for the hell of it. I guess the Big EAST just voted and made a by-law for the hell of it too.

Ever heard of a school "self-imposing" penalties on itself? Would JSU and SU have been willing to self-impose penalties on itself? This is the SWAC.....of course you wouldn't have. But those FBS Schools do.

Ok.. thanks for sharing that. Now go find you a conversation where you know what the subject matter is.

Banned from what?...The Playoffs? But the SWAC doesn't participate in the playoffs..Do We ?

The Ban would have prevented JSU from participating in the playoffs, but the SCG is not considered part of the regular season. Since JSU would have swept their APR situation under the rug instead of self-imposing penalties, the SWAC Presidents had to do JSU's job for it.

Sorry JSU, but if you would have self-imposed a penalty on yourself, the SWAC Presidents might not have ever needed to even vote. But because you didn't want to handle your business and was willing to let it continue, they had to step in.
