GOAT FARM!
NAIA will be expanding if those numbers don't climb soon.
Them Presidents didn't have no pitty on us so if that is the case, we need to get some invites to other schools ready or fold the conference and move out.

TP,
but ok

:lol:Soon, they gonna just declare JSU the only SCG eligible team. :lmao:
:lol::lol:
but ok

btw, can you show me again where the NCAA spells out that the APR penalty is only for post season tournaments sponsored by them?
thank you
We already did and they told you too. I ain't going down that road anymore. Again, the DUMB part of your question is that if the ban did include conference tournaments, it would have required NO action from the SWAC. Why don't you get back on that high road?

Exactly. You may wanna repeat that to some of your own Jsu folks. That slope is about to get even steeper.
TP, in the NCAA Handbook, what is the definition of "Season"?
...And what exactly do you JSU Folks have to threaten the SWAC with ? We'll quit going to our own games, we'll look into moving, etc. You're not like Texas A&M and Missouri....
I would hope JSU hasn't gotten to the point where they think they are irreplaceable. You can always be replaced with somebody else.
Whos threatening?
We just saying don't make yourselves in hypocrite's. Those same schools that voted for a ban in 2010 need to ban their own azzes now.
hell.................It was US JSU years ago and the entire freaking SWAC voted to ban us so nobody need to tell the JSU people shat. Its 2013 and now people on here bellyaching because the "That could be us down the road" is finally here now and want to gain some since all of a sudden?
Damm that.
Every team that is eligible for a ban need to be banned. Don't change the rule mofo's made now that it is their azzes on the line. JSU bit the ban bullet, did what we had to do to come back and now all these other jackleg schools on the ban chopping block now need to do the same and stop all this crying. :smh:
83,
I havent seen anyone here bellyaching, but ok. :read::read:
Ya'll can be so slow. First of all, I think most of us agree that we should ban teams from the sports with tournaments that send a champ into the NCAA post season from which they are banned. The SCG is not such a game because the winner of that conference sanctioned post-season tournament does not go into the NCAA post season.
However, our other point is that if you are going to ban teams for a 899 APR, you also need to ban teams with lower ones. When JSU and SU got banned in football, our APR was better than PV, TxSo and Grambling. If the COPs wanted to make a statement, all 5 teams should have been banned. The NCAA didn't ban ANYONE from the SCG so that was the COPs chance to be seen as putting their foot down. Following an NCAA mandate for a game that does not even apply to said penalty made no sense.
83,
I havent seen anyone here bellyaching, but ok. :read::read:
You know dam well that the APR was based on 4 years and not the 1 year you keep thing of.
All this BS about the SCG not being a post season game is more BS. You need to stop drinking from the Mississippi, it's stunting your brain cells.
Big East presidents have agreed on a policy that would bar Connecticut’s men’s basketball team from next season’s conference tournament because the Huskies haven’t qualified academically for the 2013 NCAA tournament.
Spokesman John Paquette confirmed Friday that Big East presidents agreed in principal to the policy during a meeting on March 7 in New York.
“Our presidents conceptually agreed that any team in any sport that is ineligible for postseason NCAA competition that they would not compete in the conference tournament or championship,” he said.
Sometimes I wonder if I am just so much smarter than the rest of you that you just can't understand my logic. Sometimes I wish I had no analytical mind and lived in the simple minded world in which some of you dwell.
No one but the same folks from the same school...
No one but the same folks from the same school...
Who's bellyaching about being banned? Seems like the only folks bellyaching is those certain posters talking about what happened 3 years ago. No one is advocating changing any rules. Seems like everyone besides the obvious ones are ready to take their punishment.
again, can you please show me where there is a defined "post season that apr refers to? And you can keep the articles bout the big east. You can simply post it from the NCAA's website. That would suffice.Dude, who says I was talking about ONE year? JSU had TWO bad APR years back then compared to PV and GSU having like 3-4 sub 900 APR years. You can go look it up. I posted those numbers three years ago. This is TP. The smart one. ...as for the SCG being part of the post-season. Fine, I will concede that argument to you even though for TWO reasons it's not. BUT regardless of whether it is post season or not, ITS NOT THE POST SEASON THAT APR REFERS TO!
How many times MUST it be spelled out that the SCG is post season? How many times MUST it be spelled out that APR does not ban schools from conference tournaments and championships.
