So WHAT if the SWAC Presidents Choose to Not Ban Teams This Year Due to APR

TP,
but ok
:read:

Well JSU had a 971 this year--the highest in the conference followed by TxSo (led by a JSU staff). You might need to be at your school trying to figure out how to be J-State. Soon, they gonna just declare JSU the only SCG eligible team. :lmao:

:lol::lol:
but ok
:read:

btw, can you show me again where the NCAA spells out that the APR penalty is only for post season tournaments sponsored by them?
thank you

We already did and they told you too. I ain't going down that road anymore. Again, the DUMB part of your question is that if the ban did include conference tournaments, it would have required NO action from the SWAC. Why don't you get back on that high road?

TP, in the NCAA Handbook, what is the definition of "Season"?

just like I figured.
but ok

...And what exactly do you JSU Folks have to threaten the SWAC with ? We'll quit going to our own games, we'll look into moving, etc. You're not like Texas A&M and Missouri....

I would hope JSU hasn't gotten to the point where they think they are irreplaceable. You can always be replaced with somebody else.

Whos threatening?
We just saying don't make yourselves into hypocrite's. Those same schools that voted for a ban in 2010 need to ban their own azzes now.

Remember, their cowardly President didn't vote. But MH says the COPs so dumb, they didn't have to vote anyway. :snicker:

hell.................It was US JSU years ago and the entire freaking SWAC voted to ban us so nobody need to tell the JSU people shat. Its 2013 and now people on here bellyaching because the "That could be us down the road" is finally here now and want to gain some since all of a sudden?

Damm that.
Every team that is eligible for a ban need to be banned. Don't change the rule mofo's made now that it is their azzes on the line. JSU bit the ban bullet, did what we had to do to come back and now all these other jackleg schools on the ban chopping block now need to do the same and stop all this crying. :smh:

Who's bellyaching about being banned? Seems like the only folks bellyaching is those certain posters talking about what happened 3 years ago. No one is advocating changing any rules. Seems like everyone besides the obvious ones are ready to take their punishment.

83,
I havent seen anyone here bellyaching, but ok. :read::read:

Me either

Ya'll can be so slow. First of all, I think most of us agree that we should ban teams from the sports with tournaments that send a champ into the NCAA post season from which they are banned. The SCG is not such a game because the winner of that conference sanctioned post-season tournament does not go into the NCAA post season.

However, our other point is that if you are going to ban teams for a 899 APR, you also need to ban teams with lower ones. When JSU and SU got banned in football, our APR was better than PV, TxSo and Grambling. If the COPs wanted to make a statement, all 5 teams should have been banned. The NCAA didn't ban ANYONE from the SCG so that was the COPs chance to be seen as putting their foot down. Following an NCAA mandate for a game that does not even apply to said penalty made no sense.

You know dam well that the APR was based on 4 years and not the 1 year you keep thing of.

All this BS about the SCG not being a post season game is more BS. You need to stop drinking from the Mississippi, it's stunting your brain cells.

Dude, who says I was talking about ONE year? JSU had TWO bad APR years back then compared to PV and GSU having like 3-4 sub 900 APR years. You can go look it up. I posted those numbers three years ago. This is TP. The smart one. ...as for the SCG being part of the post-season. Fine, I will concede that argument to you even though for TWO reasons it's not. BUT regardless of whether it is post season or not, ITS NOT THE POST SEASON THAT APR REFERS TO!

Just to help you slower people out.. Read this about UCONN last year.

http://www.nhregister.com/articles/2012/03/30/sports/doc4f75e9942bd8e528622960.txt

Big East presidents have agreed on a policy that would bar Connecticut’s men’s basketball team from next season’s conference tournament because the Huskies haven’t qualified academically for the 2013 NCAA tournament.

Spokesman John Paquette confirmed Friday that Big East presidents agreed in principal to the policy during a meeting on March 7 in New York.

“Our presidents conceptually agreed that any team in any sport that is ineligible for postseason NCAA competition that they would not compete in the conference tournament or championship,” he said.

How many times MUST it be spelled out that APR does not ban schools from conference tournaments and championships. The NCAA leaves it to the conferences to do that or are ALL of these Presidents so dumb that they create rules that the NCAA is already covering. It's discussions like that that led people to think I was not very bright but it's not me. It's the dense people like you, Jag4life, and MH. For the purpose of APR, the SCG and the conference tournaments are NOT post-season.

This is a quote of mine from 2000.. it still applies today!

Sometimes I wonder if I am just so much smarter than the rest of you that you just can't understand my logic. Sometimes I wish I had no analytical mind and lived in the simple minded world in which some of you dwell.

No one but the same folks from the same school...

yeah, yeah, yeah.
Cry me a river and we know...................."It's only JSU posters."

None of ya'll are ever guilty of running wild on this board. We know, we know, we know. 2010 never happened. None of you ever clowned the banned schools then. None of you ever said a word. No threads was ever made clowning JSU for weeks. Nobody was saying JSU NAIA is waiting. Not ya'll, not the Texans, Not the Bammas, not nobody in the SWAC. Blah, Blah, Blah.

This is the SWAC.....................We know the hypocrit mentality.

We just getting ahead of the crap because you know them mush mouth Presidents that voted to ban in 2010 are not going to vote to ban themselves now that it's their turn. Those folks gonna do more tap dancing around this issue than BO-Jangles in white face with big red lips. One school that voted for a ban is already filing wavers instead of taking their medicine like they told us.

again, can you please show me where there is a defined "post season that apr refers to? And you can keep the articles bout the big east. You can simply post it from the NCAA's website. That would suffice.

preciate it.
:scared:

Banning JSU was a good thing. Anytime JSU is punished, looses or something bad happens, it is great for the SWAC.

We see Melvin Hines, Reggie Barlow, Isaiah Crowell and nim' trying to hide.

A NCAA rep told you that three years ago. It's not my battle. In fact, I WANT it to include the SCG now.. Also, some things are simple deductive and logical reasoning. :lecture: Some people just lack that.

A NCAA rep told you that three years ago.
:smh::smh:

I knew all along you couldn't show anything on the NCAA website, in all of their databases. You couldn't show it "three years ago" and you can't show it now. And the reason you can't is because it doesn't exist.

stop popping off. It aint necessary.
