Like I have said before, this is 10 member conference, not 2. Gotta Love the Power of Checks and Balances.

And besides, you can't go nowhere anyway :lol:!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 



Nothing. I just hope Meyers would publicly denounce those schools as not being serious about academics. Nothing more she could do.
 
The Queen is a sweet lady but when we got banned I sent her an e-mail.. she fired back.. she wasn't happy. I don't see her letting this slide.

I'm not sure that's true. With as many rumblings there are about teams leaving the conference .... And other things.

You can't successfully run a conference with that kind of inconsistency and unfairness.

The Presidents need to be very careful - deliberate and considerate - when making these decisions.

Don't be foolish enough to think they can impose anything they wish and members of the conference will take it lying down. That would be most unwise.

Then it will prove they are the hypocrite's JSU have always know them to be. You got mofos that voted with both hands and feet in the air against certain schools 2 years ago crying like beeches now. :lol:

Lets not forget GSU Basketball was banned the same year also. 3 schools.

when Jsu was banned was there some public denouncement that the school is "not being serious about academics"?
going forward, if any sport at your school is subject to any APR penalties do you want/expect her to "publicly denouce (Jsu) as not being serious about academics"?

Doesn't matter what we decide on. It will not benefit Alcorn. They didn't see Birmingham... they wont see Houston, nor will they see any city the SWAC decides to tour over the next 20yrs.

If the conference votes not to ban teams, she should denounce it. We didn't make APR and we were punished for it. If other teams don't receive the same punishment, that would be a clear sign that none of them the Presidents were making an academic statement but rather just punishing certain schools.

Why not get them in an uproar? :lol: If the SWAC Coaches won't do it, we can get our Drama from this. And besides DCG, what can they do? Leave the conference and get on their knees at the SEC doorstep and beg them to let them in?
Checks and Balances...:lol:. All because you have the most people attend a ballgame doesn't make you the top dog in a conference...:lmao:.

Alcorn is the sorriest team in the East and No fanbase. Co-Lin JUCO has more Fan support and more talent than your school's program and you're worried about this?
Your basketball team is in apr trouble. That should be your main concern right now.

Thing is Meyers knew the truth. She also knew that our APR was better than over half of the teams in the conference, yet WE got banned by schools Presidents who KNEW their schools had worse APR. If they wanted to speak on academics, they should have banned ALL schools who were below 900. They banned schools from conference tournaments on their own. They could have took it a step further ON THEIR OWN as well.
