SWAC BASEBALL APRIL 6-7

Don't count out a Roger Cador coached team... As for the game against LSU, I look for it to be fairly competitive. No knock on SU, but LSU will pitch one of it's midweek guys. They are so deep in pitching that it will still be a quality arm. I hope the jags come out swinging... I love baseball and we need our teams to be competitive against in-state schools for recruiting purposes.

This LSU team may go down as one of their best if they stay on their current path. It's gonna be a tough one.

You should backtrack for a second and read your own posts. You seem to be more concerned with what SU is doing. We can careless about y'all. SU loses a game here you come snickering only to embarrass yourself later.

He can't help himself. It was the way he was raised.

I know what SU's doing just like I know what other SWAC schools are doing because it's posted on tspn sports. I know that PB took two out of three from SU in baseball because someone reluctantly posted and made excuses on tspn as to why SU lost.
Besides, I did hope that you all would beat Gonzaga.

JR why does it seem that the ONLY concern for many SU folks is IF they beat JSU. It's perplexing that you would think this way, but understandable.
As far as baseball's concerned, Cador hasn't brought home the bacon recently either, so what's your point? As long as SU beats JSU in baseball, that's all that counts.

Dude, you started the snide remark about SU. As far as baseball is concerned, JSU is a none factor to SU folks. We have beaten far too many times and won SWAC championships to boot. Don't try to turn it around. Like I said, with the way your team has performed in the tourney I would not be throwing stones at SU. My point is that you can't talk. LOL. That was the point.

LOL. Juke, Jayrob is more concerned on what SU is doing than all the baseball failures his school has had. If he wasn't he would be quiet and realize how many letdowns baseball wise he has seen JSU have to be talking about anybody else. Whether it was SU, GSU or whomever. Until they win the tourney, he should be in his corner. LOL. He does this every year, only to hope SU doesn't win the tourney even when we have eliminated his school several times.

It's par for the course. Jayrob is one of those cats who is like as long as SU doesn't win it all. He hates for SU to win at anything. Probably killed him to see us win the SWAC basketball tourney. You know he was ready to jump on the PV bandwagon had we lost. Notice how quiet he has been about that. He also would have said we embarrassed the conference had the Zags beat us by 30 like the odds makers thought. Typical Jayrob.

Uhhh isn't that what I said? That says the season is almost over with. So not being familiar with your field and your fans is NOT an advantage? I thought I'd read it all until your post. You guys seem to make more excuses than a robber trying to explain away his DNA found at the crime scene.:emlaugh:
But what you said was incorrect. SU has 3 series left....ie, 9 conference games left. A number of other teams have 4 series left. A lot can happen in 9 conference games. When you're down to 6 or less conference games, the season is then nearly over with. In the west, the season won't be over until the last game is played. And SU not playing well at home is not an excuse, it's a fact. Last year, SU went 6-6 at home while going 11-1 on the road. The year before, they went 7-5 at home while going 9-3 on the the road. In the last 5 years, SU has hosted 3 SWAC tourneys and only won 1. The other 2, not only did SU not win, SU didn't make the championship game.

So, these were not excuses. These were proven facts about SU. Do you know the difference between facts and excuses?

JR, SUJag, PyshoJag, JROCK, everyone else is right.

WE ARE SU!!!!! We are the flagship for all HBCU Baseball!!! We are the program which others idolize and imitate!!!! OUR Baseball program is sooooo good that even our walkons are better than all the schollys at every other SWAC school. For us to lose 2 series at home could be a sign of the sky is falling!!!!! :uhoh::scared::uhoh::scared:

Hell I could see if we were in last place in the West. But we are right at the top with a ton of baseball left. I am sure he will be back after the LSU games to gloat on how we got beat down. Typical.

Way to come back Braves!!! Why was Rey ejected from the game?

There was a controversial call in I think the second inning where the Bama State player's foot supposedly came off the bag, yet the official still called Alcorn's player out. After that call, Rey continued to making comments about the play from the dugout. The first base official finally got tired of the continued comments and ejected him from the game.
