SWAC BASEBALL APRIL 6-7

Somebody said SU would be better at the end of the season? I wonder who that was . LOL!!

Uh it is not the end of the season Jayrob. Long time until SWAC tournament. You know the one your team never can seem to beat SU in. Just saying. Long season.

It's jayrob man what do you expect? A broken clock has more accuracy than him.

SU has a lot of injuries. 4-5 starters out, one returned and two others got hurt. But PB kicked our azz. SU has lost both home series and won all on the road. Glad they moved the tournament  . SU plays horrible at home.

PB did put it on SU this weekend. I wouldn't be surprised if the SWAC gets rid of the "East/West" in baseball soon. Right now, all 5 West teams are head-n-shoulders above the bottom 2 in the East. But you never know, last year 4th place Valley defeated Bama and then went on to oust 1st place SU.

SWAC STANDINGS
EAST
J-State 12-3
Bama State 10-5
Alcorn 8-6
Valley 1-8
Bama A&M 1-10

WEST
SU 8-7
Gram 7-7
PV 6-6
TX SU 6-6
UAPB 5-6

Most SWAC schools have less than two or three series left in the conference just in case you didn't know. Seems like SU can't beat many teams either even though it's had a huge home field advantage on several occasions.

I stopped at "injuries".:emlaugh: More excuses I see.

I didn't realize that the Dancing Dolls could have so much power over one individual. :emlaugh:

SU has 3 series left and if you knew what you were talking about you would know SU plays better away from home. There is no advantage for SU playing at home.

I would not talk shat to a team I have beaten maybe twice out of the last 30 or so games  .

Five starters missed Sunday’s finale for SU

Regular shortstop Jeremy Lopez and center fielder Gavin Webster joined a long list of Southern players missing in action. Webster suffered a hamstring injury the first day of the series. Cador said Lopez was ill.

“But you have to give (Arkansas-Pine Bluff) all the credit,” Cador said. “They were the better team this weekend. They beat us in every phase of the game.

Uhhh isn't that what I said? That says the season is almost over with. So not being familiar with your field and your fans is NOT an advantage? I thought I'd read it all until your post. You guys seem to make more excuses than a robber trying to explain away his DNA found at the crime scene.:emlaugh:

Jayrob, you need to be quiet. As much as JSU has choked in baseball coming in the SWAC Tourney with good records and such only to be bounced, many times by SU. You should be quiet. LOL. Can't believe you bragging in April when the SWAC Tourney don't even start until school is out. LOL. Oh well. You start this every year talking about SU ain't playing well only for us to beat yall anyway.

Just let it go. You better hope your coach don't let you down yet again come tourney time. Too early to be proclaiming something. As bad as SU has played we still lead the West.

JR why does it seem that the ONLY concern for many SU folks is IF they beat JSU. It's perplexing that you would think this way, but understandable.
As far as baseball's concerned, Cador hasn't brought home the bacon recently either, so what's your point? As long as SU beats JSU in baseball, that's all that counts.

Don't count out a Roger Cador coached team... As for the game against LSU, I look for it to be fairly competitive. No knock on SU, but LSU will pitch one of it's midweek guys. They are so deep in pitching that it will still be a quality arm. I hope the jags come out swinging... I love baseball and we need our teams to be competitive against in-state schools for recruiting purposes.

You should backtrack for a second and read your own posts. You seem to be more concerned with what SU is doing. We can careless about y'all. SU loses a game here you come snickering only to embarrass yourself later.
