LOL. I have met some pretty cool Syracuse folks over the years. Nice campus and pretty good school. Especially for broadcasting. I am sure Jim Brown would have told them graduates that HE was the best player to ever suit up at the Cuse. LOL. They must have been some youngsters. Because most Syracuse people I have run across talk about everybody but Donovan. LOL. Especially seeing that they were Running Back U back in the old days.

LOL. Not that big mofo. LOL. Even if he was not gay and was in shape, I don't know if he would have been any good as a ball player. Tim's kid is actually much taller than he is. I am sure Magic is like why couldn't my oldest boy Andre ball. LOL. But them guys like Hardaway, and Big Dog Glenn Robinson are just some of the few that have some sons who can actually play.

You can add Doc Rivers son to that list. Although Michael Jordan's sons weren't that good, at least they tried. Po Magic. :lol:

I'm know it would be hard for Magic to watch those type of games with other ex-NBA basketball players. I'm sure every chance they get, they would remind him how good Tim Hardaway, Jr. plays the game like his dad did.
 
Tricks missed that second ft at the end and that white guard....don't know what was he thinking....at least i thought he was going to dish it out and find that black shooter who got hot at the end

Yeah they should have designed it to be kicked out to CJ Fair or James Southerland to shoot the 3. Both teams felt the pressure at the end of the game. Michigan had ample opportunities to put this one away and not even let it come down to a last possession. But that is why it is called March Madness.

I think ole Magic would be okay if his boy was just chasing women and being a normal rich kid instead of being a flamboyant gay kid. LOL. As for Hardaway's son. His game is no where near as good as his old man. Not yet anyway. Tim had the best crossover I have ever seen. Jr has a ways to go to play like Dad. Good thing for him is he plays a different position being that he is 6'6 and Tim Sr was a 6'1 PG. Jr will probably be a Shooting Guard in the NBA or a Small Forward.

Alot of former super star kids have not lived up to the same billing their Dads did. Some even were straight scrubs. But this thing with Magic's son puts him in the limelight for obvious different reasons. Especially since his kid looks like he is going to be really out with his.

In the press conference, their coach said the plan was for him to dribble in and kick it out to the wing for a 3, but Michigan covered the guy. I think CJ Fair should have been the one initiating the offense so that if Michigan did take away the wings, he had enough athleticism to get to the basket and have a chance at an uncontested lay-up. By them choosing the unathletic guy to do it, he really had no other options but to just throw it up and hope for the best. lol

John Lucas, Patrick Ewing, Moses Malone, Rick Barry, etc all had boys who could ball. Karl Malone's daughter was a beast also, even though he had nothing to do with her development as a player. That was ALL DNA/genes. lol

Shaq says his sons will be better than him as a player.

Moses son was really good as a HS player at Friendswood. Don't remember him doing anything in college. Rick Barry's boys were good not Rick Barry good but at least they made it to the NBA and played a long time. Pat Ewing Jr has kind of disappeared on me. He looked good in college. I thought he made it to the NBA somewhere. Lucas boys were okay. I guess my point was a lot of the Dads who end up being super star athletes normally don't pass it on their sons to become just as good as them in the same sport. Seems like the average player kid is the one who becomes a star. Kobe being better than his Dad was. Those Horford boys look like they will be better than Pops too. But the bonafide super star player kid has so much pressure to be good it may work against them.

I am rooting for Hardaway Jr and Glenn III to do well. I think they got the potential do bigger things than their Dads. Especially Hardaway Jr. He is going to be nice when he really develops.

Ohhh you meant superstar level. Well yeah, only Kobe from what I know. I consider earning a D1 scholarship as being enough. I guess I think differently hoping I don't have to spend a dime on my boys college costs. LOL

LOL. I understand where you coming from. But some of those guys got the money to send their kids to college regardless. But I see your point. It has to be a lot of pressure to play the same sport your Dad did. Especially when he was a star on the highest level.

We would have a nice contingent if we made it. But you know us. Once they found out how much the tickets were from stub hub and other sources because you have to fill out an application for Final Four tickets a year in advance. The come out of the woodwork fans would have just been in the ATL to party. LOL. No way we would outnumber those bigger programs that have alums with more disposable income or willing to spend it.

Our alums pay high prices for Saints/Texans/Hornet games on the regular. We'd be there. Not saying we'd have 20K there, but I know I'd sacrifice and pay a few hundred if need-be.

Yeah but how many folks is that J4L. Plus usually when you buy season tickets you get time to pay. At least the Vikings allow to do so when I was getting mine. For a single game ticket there is always somebody ready to unload them especially if the team isn't doing well or the opponent sucks. LOL. I am not saying we will not show. But not like schools who alums just don't care how much it costs to go. I would pay as well. But we all know how OUR folks are when it comes to shelling out 200-300 dollars per ticket for an event like that. Now we would be in the ATL. We would damn near take that mofo over at all the events surrounding the Final Four. But actually going into the game I can see about 5-10K folks. If the tickets were easy to get then I would say 15-20K would be at the game. 50-100 dollars limit. But look at the amount of these ticket prices. I would pay it to see SU in the Final Four. But man it ain't cheap.

But how many tickets are allotted per team? I'm thinking most of our fans would be buying those. The late comers would have to pay a grip, though.
