So FAMU and Valley in the MEAC/SWAC challenge?

Vally lost at home to a D2. Beat by 31 to 4-7 Northwestern St. Lost 0 to 35 at home to AAMU. FAMU lost to TnSU by 3 points. On the same field TnSU beat the SWAC champ that you brag about by 27 and beat the east champ that you take pride in losing to by 26 on a neutral field. FAMU is going to route Vally.

I don't know about you but losing by 26, 27, 31, 35 is being bent over.

UAPB, JSU and Valley ended their regular season strong. TSU thought the season was over with after their undefeated start and wilted like a rose in the desert to end the season.

After getting routed by AAMU for Homecoming on Oct. 6, we played great ball the last 5-6 games. Totally different team just like the JSU and UAPB teams and how they finished. No need to bring up how TSU finished theirs.

Dude please, nobody gives a damn about Tenn. St. right now. Is anybody here really checking for Tenn. St. right now???? I don't recall anybody mentioning them for any discussion in here lately. The thread is talking about Valley playing FAMU. I understand that you may feel neglected because nobody discusses your school over here too often, but chill out on trying to down somebody else just so you can try to look better. The 2 teams only have one common opponent last year and that was a Southern team that beat FAMU in virtually their own back yard. We happened to fair better in our game against SU in Mumford on ESPNU.

$100 FAMU +14

¿Bet?

This could ultimately be a disaster for the SWAC and black college football. Not because of the talent level, but because of the attendance. MVSU has struggled to get students who live ON CAMPUS to attend football games. And now they're asking people to go to Florida to see them play in a game which will be nationally televised. Mark my words, no one will look good by the end of this game.

No worse than what Delaware State took to Orlando when SU played them. There will be many camera tricks involved by ESPN.

$100 Anybody giving a damn about TNSU + 14,000

Bet?

¡C'mon son! ¿You can't understand TnSU was used as a comparison in my thinking FAMU is going to blow out MVSU?

Back to the wager. I'm giving you 14 points, picking a team that will have a new head coach and staff.

FAMU +14. You can pay me through paypal. If $100 is too much for you we can go $20, $50, $75.

Soooooooo. ¿How much do you believe in your team?

¿We got a bet or Not?

If FAMU's band is not back i expect around 16K. If the band is back about 25K

I thought UAPB would be playing in this game. I assume every swac school will get an opportunity to play in swac/meac challenge regardless of previous record.

Valley is going to get murdered. Sorry that team isn't surprising anyone. I'll be happy when they end the Challenge because it does appear to be much of a challenge if SU isn't playing.

If they had been available I'm sure UAPB would have been playing in it.

Our game with Arkansas State for this season was scheduled during the 2012 football season; Coach Coleman mentioned it during one of his teleconferences. With the date being set for August 31st by Arkansas State (and UAPB), AD Hardy was good in NOT breaking another contract like our past AD Craig Curry did. Therefore, no SWAC/MEAC Challenge for us.

I'm not going to diss Valley, but I'll just say we a pretty solid squad that should make a push for the MEAC Title this year...Earl Holmes will have these boys ready.

And if you're judging this years team by last years results...well, that's a mistake

Well if this is the case, JSU should of took yall place in this game. They was the runner-up, but hey Valley got picked so Good luck to them.

JSU played Hampton in the game in 2008, attendance was nothing to write home to Mom about.

The draw for this game will probably be the return of the "Marching 100".

I don't believe that. I think Valley will play hard and be competitive. Don't sleep on them. If they can find a legit QB and have some offense they will be okay. Especially if that RB is back.
