That's the difference between Jackson and Huntsville ... Huntsville has 180,000 but is majority white... Only around 30% Black.

Maybe I am lost, but JSU had 8K which is good. No way we can laugh, I wish we could get 8k for games beside LCC and HC.

We got over 8000 for every game besides PV. We averages about 11500 this year.

Even in a bad year, we average more than 90 percent of SWAC schools. Like I said, sweep around your own front door before you try to sweep around somebody else's whose doing better than you.

Get your panties out of a wad. The excuses comment was for the conference as a whole, YOU are the one who took it personally. Who cares if you are doing better than 90% of SWAC SCHOOLS? Hey look at me, i'm the smartest kid in the resource class! All these numbers keep pointing to what I been telling ya'll is that WE don't support our schools. Most people in this conference are bandwagon and only show up when teams are winning, if then. Tell me i'm lying.

ummmmmm you know that picture of mumford is photoshop right......we have always had inaccurate attendance counts......THAT IS ALL SWAC SCHOOLS....Our stadium hold 60K.....i was at the game, a staduim with 8,000 would look very very slim....that wasn't the look in memorial saturday

The SWAC probably still leads FCS in attendance, as we have the past few decades.

I thought it was less than that. Blacks in Houston is right at 1/4th of Houston's population, which is not bad at all.

It's really a sign of the times. Thanks to Bush, people don't have the money to spend on football games like they used to.

JSU & SU both have lead the swac in attendance for the past 40+ years. The swac is riding on JSU and SU accomplishments, therefore I wouldn't say the swac.

We can't lead the nation in attendance based solely on JSU and SU averaging 15-25k a season over the past few years. The other 8 schools (most of them) aren't doing too bad compared to the rest of FCS either.

I been saying all these 1 to 4pm starts has been hurting attendance since the mid-2000's. These early starts didn't just start with the "FADED ONE." No game in Jackson, outside of Homecomming, should start before 6pm. :tup:

They comped military and their families and I don't believe they are counting students. There is no way to know what numbers you see from week to week or from school to school. I am not sure if that is total attendance or paid attendance. But if we had 8-9K fans paying, we should have at least broke even at the gate. As long as the game didn't lose money, I'm good.

I like the direction that our attendance is going. We have reached out to the community more and the ticket prices are not bad at all...
