Overall, the Galaxy Note II is so much better than the I-Phone 5. Better graphics and display for games, additional memory storage--up to 128GB, bigger screen, better battery power and storage, ability to run multiple apps at same time simultaneously--including video, 1.6Ghz processor, and simply just better functionality. This is probably Androids best and smoothest device they've created thus far. With the new Jelly Bean operating system, the home screen is better than ever with widgits and the capability to change home screens with live wallpaper and unimaginable customization. Additionally, this is one of the first smartphones in the United States with a quad-core processor--and trust me it's fast as hell--and even faster after you root it. With data speeds roughly at 168mbps and 2 GB of RAM, this thing is lighting fast.
If you hate the iPhone 5′s virtual keyboard, too bad, you’re going to have to deal with it. That's the limitation of Apple because there are no other virtual keyboard options available for the iPhone 5. In other words, if the OS 6 keyboard is not your things, you are shit out of luck. With the the Note 2, you’ll have options to choose from on the Google Play Store. Keyboards like SwiftKey 3 are available should the generic keyboard feature with the phone not be adequate.
The main attraction, of course, is that gigantic 5.5-inch, 1280-by-720 resolution display and the S-pen (stylus-that let's you edit photos, pics, video, etc.) It feels funny and weird as hell trying to hold an I-phone after playing with this sucka.
Overall, this phone is smoother, better, has more capability and flexibility than the i-phone, and is simply faster.
