Memorial holds more than 50k though...

Okay, raise it to 60,000. It makes no different. Mississippi Confederate Memorial Stadium is way smaller than the Mercedes Superdome, which is a worldwide known venue that could potential bring in a much larger T.V. audience than Memorial since it is already setup for such events.

What was last years BC's attendance? The only reason the BC is on TV right now is because you pay a network to basically run a long infomercial.

So whats the point of being in the Superdome if you guys can't fill it up anymore.

2011 Bayou Classic attendance was 40,715, which is way more than any jSU home game. The Bayou Classic has gone through ups and downs before, with more ups than downs, but should Southern and Grambling move the game because it has experiened a few down years after Katrina? Now I know what jSU stands for, Jealous State University.

If you go back and read my previous post carefully, you'll noticed that I said Superdome capacity. Nothing was said about previous Bayou Classic attendance. The highest attended Bayou Classic was between76,000 to 77,000, but I'm sure your ignorant ass knew that.

Highest attended BC:
1974 - 76,753

Based on your posts and your language, your IQ couldn't be any higher than your name. Everybody knows all of this elementary stuff you're posting.

JROCK was talking about jSU not traveling well, but somehow you started talking about being in the FCS top five every year in attendance, which is your school's HOME ATTENDANCE RECORD. Your ignorant ass would give a person a headache.

Neither you nor Jrock know our road numbers. If you do, PLEASE tell us how you calculated our road numbers.
If you don't, just say you don't and move on.
How do you know for a fact that JSU folks don't travel well? LOL!!

They must be worth a hellva lot.. Yall's phuggas still whining...Somebody put a tittie in their mouths...

Who gives a rats azz about you moving your home game to that dump down in Lorman? It's ashame we gotta risk life and limb riding down there for another victory. Your President don't know what the hell he gettin yall into.
He's operating on pure emotion and will soon regret it.
Hope nobody get's into any major accidents to and from that 22,000 seat dump that ain't been sold out since McNair, which was damn near 20 years ago.

Trying to understand jSU's logic would make anyone just say, what the fugg are they teaching them at that school.

It's Alcorn's home game and no matters which school has the most in-attendance, Alcorn should make the most money for its home game. Not only Alcorn should demand their share of the wealth, but they should also require that the endzones be re-painted purple and gold with Alcorn Braves stamped all over it when it's their home game.

How you gone try and dictate when you ain't bringing jack to the table in the first place? There's a reason Alcorn had the game in Jackson for the past decade or so.
Their inexperienced President is gone learn the hard way though and within the next five years, the series will be back in Jackson.

And you SU folks talkng about pimpin? Yall getting pimped wayyy worse. At least our money is going back to the Jackson commnity, but yall money going to the White folks living in not Baton Rouge, but New Orleans.:emlaugh:

Look at this schiizzitt!! Braggin on a city their school's not even located in, but they LOVE givin their money to the White folks in New Orleans. Not a dime of it goes back to Scotlandville or even Grambling, but they still happy. LOL!!
If attendance gets any lower, they can go back to making it a home and home series.

Dude, nobody needs to look at tspnsports to come up with simple math numbers.
And when was the last time the BC even came near 80,000? You just making up stuff.

Let Alcorn have their home game and see how expensive it's going to be and how chaotic it will be.
Jackson's more than use to large numbers.

When was the Chitterling Chickgrease Classic ever close to 80,000? In fact when was it ever relevant? Stay in your lane lol

One question.....out of the money mentioned to be paid Alcorn who pays the expenses? Does Alcorn foot their own bill out of the money they receive?

Sure they should, just like they have done in the past. Have jSU or the City of Jackson foot their expenses before?

JSU's problem is they focus to much on GSU and SU, that's why they didn't see it when Alcorn pulled the rug from under their wanna be uppity azzez.

Yes it has. SU set the stadium records in the 2000's.

My point is if they have to pay their own expenses out of the money they are being offered it is not enough. They should come out better financially staying at home and making the team from Jackson come to their place.

Uh Pop. The sponsors pay for spots just like they do for a lot of shows on TV. Nothing on TV is for free. LOL. Notre Dame Football gets on TV and paid by NBC because of all the sponsors lining up to pay premium money for the spots. SU and Gram get their nice cut from all this at the end of the day. You got to have money to make money. Don't know why yall try to down the BC when both schools have gotten nice paydays for years. Now whether the money was properly used is another thread. Can't believe yall try to clown the BC like yall do. Just think, NBC has been televising it since 1991. That's a long time to be on National TV. No other HBCU game has been televised live on a major network like that.

You are correct, which is why Alcorn's Prez requested at least $500,000 to keep it in Jackson, MS.

East Baton Rouge parish alone Generates more money than the whole Metro area of Jackson....Do u wanna compare numbers Metro vs Metro???.....Your city is left out hungry when there is a away game....thats why they pump so much money into JSU
