This is the difference. The 1-AA championship is worthless. There is no money to be made and no prestige in the division. Moving up is accompanied by money and prestige.

Just because some folks have a different view and vision doesn't make it a backward decision. I don't see much good arguement to go to playoffs except for some folks that ain't satisfied til they go try to beat some white boys. IMHO, the only purpose of those playoffs anyway was to keep them schools out of the bowl money, so they made that crap to give them something that ain't about nothing to go do and then arranged it so it don't even make no money. We had something better with Heratige Bowl, it modeled what Div 1A does, with a chance at making money and us calling our own shots. The HB had a higher attendance and a much better TV contract than them sorry ass playoffs. At one time, the HB was listed with the other D1A bowl games.

I bet anything most of them PWC Div 1 schools would have done the bowl thing like Div 1A if they could have made it work, but they can't. They ain't got no choice but to take that piss poor crap the NCAA gave them. Almost no one in America cares about that.

Good JSU is doing the neccessary steps to leave this mess...

Dude Grambling most times plays one of the toughest schedules out of most HBCU's. Hear we are playing the Razorbacks etc. in 2012. Scared? We play some tough teams, some beatable, some not so speak for yourself and your school. JSU historically has played lightweights. If you play lightweights and can't beat them or barely beat them how in the hell can you even fix your mouth about a damn playoff? Focus on your season schedule first, beat quality OOC teams then talk play-offs, doesn't take rocket science to understand that formula. It's called crawling before walking, not jumping off a cliff to embarrassment and death. Wanna be uppity i tell ya. lmao
