Maybe you just don't understand. I understand your OPINION that the committee would black ball us but we can agree to disagree about that.
However, what is this talk about the committee having to wait a week or two to invite us?
There is no need for a playoff committee to wait on that unless a West team is waiting on the outcome of the SU-GSU game to see who goes to Bham. NO EAST TEAM HAS TO WAIT A WEEK. After the JSU-Alcorn game, our season is over and Alabama State's conference games are over. The EAST rep will be decided. So every EAST team is "available" for the playoffs when they begin. Some scenerios also work for the WEST... but THAT and half of the other stuff you all are talking about is not the point of this thread.
THE POINT THAT YOU ARE MISSING:
On November 20th, on ANY other year, if JSU was 10-1, and that one loss was to Alabama State, we would ALREADY know we are not going to the SCG becasue ASU plays TU and the EAST rep would be set. Therefore, JSU would be playoff eligible. There is nothing in the playoff system that states that a champ has to be named first. We went to the playoffs in 1997 when the committee that even if SU lost to GSU in the BC, that they held the head to head win over us and that SU would be SWAC champs. Therefore, JSU was deemed playoff eligible becasue SU, win or lose, had the Heritage Bowl bid locked up and SU was not available when the playoffs started. So JSU went as the #2 team. The irony here is that we would qualify this year and be available but we are banned.
...and you don't get my point, fine. I won't try to explain it any further.

But I really hope you have not been on here ALL these years and never knew this.
