Jag...dog...ESPN stated that the marine threw the first punch...and he is in JAIL behind a fight...what u mean not backing him up...he wasn't the only one out there and they are going by what a chick stated who she "noticed" out there...

I mean..he off the team for this...1st time offense?? might have me thinking...I"m transferring...not might have me thinking...that's whats wrong with black folks..we don't take actions...

what more examples do we need...look at Reggie...he can't go back to USC...look at T.Pryor..he can't go back to OSU..and all the other QBs that had troubles at LSU...they don't give a shat about you..so what it's there to "have me thinking"

So kicking him off the team was the best for Miles to do...oh and watching over the other 95 men just like how he's watching over Jefferson huh..and before you state that "oh he brought it on himself"....the dude has even been found guilty and Les threw him off the team... come on man...I don't know we send our kids to these white schools...Bill Cosby stated this on Tom Joyner and Luke stated this earlier in the week...stop sending these kids to these schools...

Even ESPN is like what the hell this kid do to go to jail and they are the ones to normally throw you under the bus...

Those concerned about the tennis shoe need to research lSU' former Equipment Manager Jeff Boss. LSU will never pay for tennis shooe as long as NIKE exist.

Technically he can go back to OSU but can't hang out with the football team or get a comp ticket for a game......yeah right. But he is allowed to finish school. They put that in writing for him. Don't believe all you hear on the news or see stupid fans blog. TP is still getting taking care of and so is Tressel. All was a smoke screen to get the NCAA off their backs and to help TP get to the NFL with the so called 5 year ban.
 
At the end of the day both players will be charged with misdemeanors before next Friday. Their suspensions will be lifted in time for the game against Oregon on the 3rd. Jarrett Lee will start the game at QB and Jefferson will get the nod as soon as Lee falters....

They are suspended indefinitely. How many times have we seen teams put these kids back on the team later on. This is to make LSU and Les Miles look like they don't play that....while they are probably whispering in those kids ear that we gone take you back once you beat the charges and then hired those kids a high profile lawyer. If they were truly thrown under the bus, Nathan Fisher would not be repping them. Those kids can't afford that dude. So you already know some LSU folks are taking care of this.

JJ is not good enough to be at LSU.
 
Unless something drastic changes in this case these guys will be expelled from school. They have been already suspended indefinitely from school which basically makes them ineligible for the rest of the season.

where are y'all getting your info from? The 2 players been suspended from the "team" not school, read/listen to more than one source.

I tell you this, Nathan Fisher is going to get them off. Mark my words. They played a interview on sportstalk radio, and he was pissed at the police chief, you could hear the frustration in his voice . I dont think this new police chief is going to last long in BR lol. He is a outsider to, so you know how Louisiana is lol , especially behind LSU.

BATON ROUGE, La. -- The attorney for LSU quarterback Jordan Jefferson and linebacker Joshua Johns says they have turned themselves in and been released on $5,000 bond each.

Jefferson and Johns were promptly suspended indefinitely, the school announced.

Police obtained arrest warrants for the two players Friday on charges of second-degree battery for a bar fight that injured four people last week.

Attorney Shannon Fay, an associate of lead defense attorney Nathan Fisher, says "we will continue to diligently defend our clients, who we believe are innocent."

The players also have been suspended indefinitely by the school.Jefferson and Johns face felony charges for their alleged roles in a fight outside Shady's bar in Baton Rouge on Aug. 19.

Here's my point. You are the quarterback of your team. YOU are supposed to set an example. Why the fugg are you out there anyway?

I'm sorry, but if there was nothing to this, kid wouldn't have been arrested, especially because he is an LSU football player. This kid did something and that's what schools do
They distance themselves from potential trouble. We all know this.

To me, the fact he is black means very little, but I don't see why the NAACP or anyone else "should have his back". SU players have been to clubs all week ... So far, they have been smart enough to stay out of trouble and I wouldn't expect anyone to have their backs either. These are grown ass men!

How will they be expelled from school? This did not happen on campus nor was it a campus related event. There are kids getting arrested on drug charges that don't get expelled.....

Where are you all getting you information from????

You are correct Blue. My brother-in-law played for LSU and while he was there, he wasn't able to see this powder keg, but now he is away from LSU, he sees it.

Jordan Jefferson was downtown a while back headed to 600 Main along with 6 other dudes.

Yeah they have a right, and no I'm not but if you don't have a problem with the fans booing him, and going overboard with the stuff then that is fine with me. To each its own.

When was the last time you attended an SU football game? You had SU fans booing and wanting to fight the HC.
