That is just one of many stories that have been told. I don't think they said he started the fight with LSU players, just said that he was asked to leave the bar and was involved in the fight. Their story really just clouds the stuff up even more, because they didn't explain how the other 3 people got involved and how the whole thing with the LSU players started. Their story doesn't help Jordan Jefferson either. There are no neutral witnesses there. The bar workers are going to side with the LSU players because they want to stat in business.

Please tell me where that was proven? Why 4 football players vs. 1 guy? How did the other 3 people get involved? What started the fight? Who was involved in the fight? You can't sweep this incident under the rug because of the results of the fight.

The truth will come out especially if they confiscated his shoes for DNA evidence.....and if they find DNA on those shoes of Jefferson....he might as well remove the athlete from Student Athlete.....

Because of the location where the Marine was kicked that could be considered a number of things in the Louisiana Court System. Topping that off we all know that LSU is going to wash their hands with him.....does Perriloux (sp) ring a bell....

You are right! :nod: I read it just now that everyone is saying the marine guy started it and the bartenders (bar is right by LSU) said that he threw the 1st punch. I don't know what is going on, but some people are lying.
 
For those that are familar with Baton Rouge that bar is the same bar that had nazi insignnia painted on it back in the mid 80's early 90's .

Not that it changes the truth of what happen there, but cleary not a place you need to frequent

People have the right to go to any university or college they choose. Whatever kind of environment they are subjected to is there issue. Racism is everywhere.

Okay, so one witness says is what JJ and now three witnesses indicate it wasn't him. This lowery guy seems to not be the model marine citizen since he hits women and he said eff that restraining order. Should have kept his punk azz away from that club.

The Advocate reported Thursday that Lowery's ex-girlfriend, Elizabeth Siadous, 18, filed a restraining order against him. Siadous claims Lowery stalked her hours before the fight, following her into a bar, cursing her, cornering her several times and hitting her friend.

Siadous also said Lowery showed up at her house on Aug. 3 and forced his way in.

Maybe, but since none of us were there I guess we'll never know. But we do know, ole marine dude was getting his Ike Turner on.

Jefferson and Josh Johns being booked at parish prison right now.
 
Baton Rouge police have secured arrest warrants for LSU senior quarterback Jordan Jefferson, 21, and sophomore linebacker Joshua Johns, 21, police spokesman Sgt. Don Stone said in a news release.

The arrest warrants accuse each player of committing second-degree battery, which is a felony, Stone said in the release.

“We have contacted their attorney Nathan Fisher and LSU Coach Les Miles and requested that these two individuals turn themselves in,â€￾ Stone said. “They are in the process of making those arrangements.â€￾

Fisher said at 10:15 a.m. he is at East Baton Rouge Parish Prison with Jefferson and Johns.

You must be disconnected... I probably have close to 15-20 pair and I'm 43... Probably have that many pairs of dress shoes and casual shoes as well... I can see a 21 year old with that many... We live in a different age... Young folk buy gym shoes!

Nobody like the 100 Black Men...NAACP...nobody backing this kid up...it's all about football...where the parents at...

If I had a kid on the team I'll transfer his azz...

Even his teammates that's on the team aint stickin up for this kid and letting Coach Miles know he was wrong for kicking him off the team

Backing him up for what .... if he did it, he was WRONG. No one should back him up. Now, if he is NOT guilty, then I would understand you point.

Now, if I was a young black man at LSU and saw how fast the fans dropped Jefferson under the bus, that might have me thinking.

If he is guilty then he has to face the punishment but I do not agree with throwing him to the wolves. Other folk don't do that to their children. Holding him responsible is not the same as throwing him to the wolves. Spank his azz (if he did it) but don't disown him.

On a side note...ESPN reported, this morning, that an arrest warrant has been issued.

I have probably 10-15 pair of sneakers, but heck at 21 I was at about 3-4 pair. LOL

Will not happen....because they will think it cannot happen to them. Just like crack users or stick up men/women....they think they won't get hooked or they won't get caught.

His family should be the ones with him, no one else. Miles can't do it because he has 95 to 110 other men to watch for. He has to do what's best for LSU. Who else should have this fool's back?

I hear what you are saying and as I said...if he did the crime, he should be punished....but don't kick the YOUNG man to the curb. He screwed up (allegedly) royally but he may be salvageable but not if we (Black folk) kick him to the curb. Case in point...Casey-O.
