Jordan Jefferson had no business doing what he did. Now, LSU fans are saying, the marine was drunk and was messing with a lady and the players had her back.

Funniest comment on the fake page.

Re: BRPD: LSU football players may be involved in bar fight

Man, those LSU fans are actually getting mad at the news for covering the story. Why wouldn't the news cover a story about football players breaking curfew and getting into a barfight with a tough game against Oregon coming up in one week?

lol They served the country and Jordan Jefferson hadn't done anything since he been at LSU. The best bowl game, he led LSU to was the Cotton Bowl if I am not mistaking.

Dude, heard of Lack of Institutional Control?

BB that has to do with blatantly violating NCAA rules and regulations not breaking schools curfew or bar fights.

LOIC centers on if there were adequate policies and procedures in place for an institution to comply with NCAA rules, and if those steps were being monitored and enforced by designated individuals at the time of a violation. A failure to monitor occurs when those policies and procedures are in place to comply with NCAA rules, but the institution failed to fully monitor specific areas of the program for limited periods of time

Understandable, but the NCAA slaps that "L.O.I.C." on anything that they cant find any other reason to hit them with.

Police search Jefferson's apartment and finds bags of evidence

Authorities searched LSU starting quarterback Jordan Jefferson's apartment Wednesday in connection with a bar fight last week that injured four people.

Jefferson was home at the time of the search.

''He gave us 100 percent cooperation,'' Baton Rouge police Sgt. Don Stone said, adding that Jefferson's attorney also showed up and that authorities didn't ask Jefferson any questions.

''During the course of the investigation we got enough probable cause to obtain a search warrant for his home. The reason was to search for certain items that will assist in the ongoing investigation and will help either prove or disprove the allegations against Jefferson.''

Investigators left with several brown bags of evidence, but Stone said he could not immediately discuss what items were taken from the senior quarterback's home.

You really have to do something bad and show a pattern to get that one. It ain't thrown around loosely. Now USC may disagree. I am just glad my Buckeyes avoided that charge. Once the NCAA charges you with that, serious probation is coming. Probably the reason they don't hand it out lightly. Now Miami is probably going to get hit with this one. LSU......I doubt it.

Great question. Simply becuase you lose the fight doesn't make you a victim. Take your whipping and go home.

Nothing if they started it. But since he didn't. I am just pissed that he couldn't handle his business. Some Marines I know would have had Jordan Jefferson and his crew in the hospital. I do mean by themselves, they would have at least got one of them. LOL. Dude must be Marine Reserves. LOL. Lucky for them he wasn't a Navy Seal.

That Marine had no business jumping in that fight.

Charges to be filed involving LSU football players

Charges to be filed involving LSU football players
Katie Kennedy

Advocate staff writer

The East Baton Rouge Parish district attorney said he is pursuing charges against two men involved in a June 5 fight with LSU football players Zach Mettenberger and Sam Montgomery in which a loaded gun was pointed at the players.

District Attorney Hillar Moore III said charges will likely be filed against Marcus Adams, 22, and Robert Davis, 31, within the next two weeks.

Montgomery and Davis got into a fight following an argument in the parking lot of the West Campus Apartments, prompting Davis’ friend, Adams, to pull out a gun, the LSU Police incident report says.

Mettenberger tried to intervene and Adams pointed the gun at him, the report says.

This is different than the Jordan Jefferson case. I dont think that new Police Chief will be in BR long.

So are you indicating that if a marine or a person in some other branch of the armed forces provokes a fight with me that I should let him whip my azz? Before I say anything else, let me say this I have respect for any man or woman that has served or is currently serving in the armed forces. My uncle was a marine and was even awarded a purple heart for his actions during Vietnam. Now since this is out of the way, me being a man I will not let any man no matter what his, race, religion, profession, education or any other criteria just whip my azz. If that marine jumped his azz in other people business and got whipped, that's on him. As if the person(s) who whipped his azz had time to ask him "Hey are you a marine?" Eff that!
