No, I'm not blind and neither am I deaf. Nothing you've posted comes close to the pageantry and excitement The BOOM portrayed while marching in their own style into the arena playing THEIR staple song....."Get Ready".

As far as posting other videos, I'll let you "master video posters" do that. My only request was for someone to post at least one video of SU portraying a better performance than The BOOM's regardless of the year. Up to this point, no one has. Keep the faith though.:tup:

Because from what he is posting.. you might as well say GSU is the greatest SWAC band ever...smh

They just marched down a damn ailse... it was for "Motown"... what's so great about that? Is it an honor? yes But great performance.. It really was nothing much to it. Not much practice went into that..

You MAYBE can compare Motown to "performing" for a SuperBowl.. but you sholl can't compare it to performing for the POTUS.. smh @ this dude's ignorance..

You Southern people are so jealous of the BOOM that you had to come in and fukc up a good thread. :smh:

Don't waste your time trying to outshine the BOOM, you have a chance to that every year and you fail..especially at halftime.

Goodness, let it go, folks! The '90 Edition was awesome!! Even today, the Boom is still a solid band--- as is SU's band. It's ALL opinions...

Who ain't giving JSU 1990 a compliment..I and other SU folk have complimented 1990 JSU many of times. That's not what's being talked about. Dude said that was the BEST performance of all time by "any" SWAC band... Many with sense don't agree with that.

Waiting for my homeboy Taylor-Made90 to enter this thread on his cameo appearance on camera.

Great perfomance and folks should leave it at that. I do understand what is being said though. It would be a diservice to all SWAC bands to say that was the best performance ever. Even too ex-Boom members that may be a reach. Again a great performance for it's setting no doubt. I usually reserve best ever performances for marching bands to the halftime shows I have seen over the years. But that's me. Stands, parades, guest appearances in commericals or tv...etc....should never overshadow your best field show. But that is another thread. LOL.

I ain't even tell him nothing after "that" comment.. I simply "laughed"..
I laughed because I don't consider that to be even "one" of JSU's best "performances"... you are a fan so you look at it differently from me.. I look at it from a bandsmen perspective. The best performances by any band in my opinion has been on the football field..(from my perspective).

Now you had to have "missed" him ASKING for SU to post something better like we don't have "NOTHING" from even before 69 when Doc became head director "BETTER" than that. That's a slap in our face and of course your alma mater face.. It has nothing to do with giving props. People credit 1990 Boom every other week, because it's all most of em' dare to talk about when it come to their program.

I didn't plan on going back n forth with you, obvious you don't get where I'm coming from and I "really" don't get where you coming from.

You expressed before you don't care for how some of us folk that marched in SU band defend our band.. It's cool, you have a right to feel the way you feel. It's an opinion, ain't nothing to be ( :smh: ) over or really getting upset about. You show your love one way for our program, and many of us juke show it another way.. There is a 'clear' reason for that.
