Re: Kobe believes in historic comeback - Do you?

What was he supposed to say, that we're planning our tee times for Monday? :noidea:

Re: Kobe believes in historic comeback - Do you?

Anybody that believes that the flakers will win, I got some water in the ocean for sale!

Re: Kobe believes in historic comeback - Do you?

I respect Kobe for his attitude.... I wouldn't even call him "crazy".... I don't think there is a player in the league who wants to win as much as Kobe.

I can agree with that!

Re: Kobe believes in historic comeback - Do you?

Apparently the Dallas Mavericks do.

If the Mavericks want it real bad, then put the champs away while you have them on the ropes. Show the Basketball world you are ready to go the next level because Kobe and the Lakers will be coming with everything they got. Here is a question we need to ask, why can't the Lakers finish games in this series?

Players other than Kobe Bryant have not been contributing to the cause on both ends of the floor. Kobe can't carry a team multiple times in a seven-game series. He's too old and too beat up these days to try. Guys like Odom, Gasol, Bynum and others have to chip in. The bench as given the Lakers nothing in this series. Just nothing.

And you also have to give credit to Dallas as well. They have played tougher and smarter than the Lakers in the fourth quarter.

You are right, Kobe has shown up, but the three soft guys up front are still playing the New Orleans series have not shown up to give Kobe some help. Also no bench play is killing the Lakers also. I also agree with you also that it looks like Dallas wants it more than the Lakers.

Re: Kobe believes in historic comeback - Do you?

Does anybody think that the Lakers miss Jordan Farmar this season? I know he was inconsistent but he did provide some spark off the bench and was athletic for a pg.

Bynum has played. Pau looks like he looked toward the end of his run in Memphis. Odom has always been up and down. The bench has been weak all year. Dallas is just exposing all of the Lakers' weaknesses, some of which would've been masked by Kobe's dominance in the past.

Re: Did Kobe quit on his teammates in game 4?

Hmmmmmm.............

He's done it before, but today they quit on him. But this is consistent with the Lakers in the Phil Jackson Era, when they get eliminated, they really get eliminated. 28 points against SA in 03, 13 points against Detroit in 04 in a game that wasn't nearly as close as the final score, 31 points in 07 against Phoenix, 39 in 08 against Boston.

I think kobe has checked out. He's going to have to answer to an upset Magic.I think that little crap he said after game 3 was all a farce.

Why was this thread combined? This is a different thread. Anyway Magic looks like he ready to trade some folks today.

Re: Did Kobe quit on his teammates in game 4?

My thread must have been moved by a passionate Lakers fan. Artest will not be there next year. Him or Odem.

Re: Did Kobe quit on his teammates in game 4?

Somebody must be really upset that the Lakers are getting drilled to move my thread, but anyway. Jason Terry is killing these boys. And Dallas isn't really that good. :uhoh:

Re: Did Kobe quit on his teammates in game 4?

Gasol punk azz refuse to play because he said one of the teammates wife told his fiancee to leave him. :smh:

Re: Did Kobe quit on his teammates in game 4?

Bwhaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That sound like a soft European.

I would trade that SOB. Something is going on in the Lakers locker room and the news is that its about Gasol and another teammate.

Re: Did Kobe quit on his teammates in game 4?

a passionately upset Laker fan. Sad ass lakers and sad ass laker fans

Yeah I think some hurt Laker fan must have moved my thread. Either that or some Kobe lover. But anyway, Rick Carisle is a good coach. I like him.
