SU won but we are still not playing Jaguar baseball. SU stranded so many runners again. Time to switch up the batting order.

What do me being a Administrator have to do with me replying to your post?

Not a dam thing!!!!!

I'm a member of this board just like everyone else and I can reply to the post within the rules of the board.

Not trying to defend the Swac office or anything, but lately folks been trying to make them out as the bad guy for everything just like you're doing for blaming them for not having live stats.

Now go and raise some funds for your school to purchase and run the software that gives you your live stats. You can get all the LIVE stats you want by going to the games and watching the game LIVE.

In the top of the ninth inning on a warm, humid Saturday afternoon, Southern pitcher Cody Hall trotted to the mound at Lee-Hines Field, looking for his second save in as many days against rival Jackson State.

Hall needed only two pitches to get it, securing a 7-5 victory and a two-game sweep of the Tigers.

But for him, personally, those two pitches might have been the most meaningful of the season.

They were the first two pitches his maternal grandmother, Pansy Jackson, had seen Hall throw in 10 years.

A native of Savannah, Ga., Hall moved to Baton Rouge just before he entered seventh grade, and Jackson, 66, hadn’t seen her grandson pitch since then.

In the meantime, she was busy fighting to stay alive. About three years ago, Jackson had a vicious bout with breast cancer, which, after time and treatment, went into remission.

Yeah its good but not being able to score runs is killing LSU and SU. Well put SU against Bama, Vandy or Georgia or someone for a 3 game series which is what I really want to happen anyway but you think stranding 10 runners a game with majority being in scoring position is going to win atleast one game against a SEC school?

There's only 3 weeks left in the season......It's not about to change this year. Hopefully, they will be win the tourney inspite of all the issues. Good thing, every team has issues!!!! And SU and Alcorn have won enough games to make the tourney.

They only been playing like this for about 3 weeks . Started the Gram series. Before that SU was playing beautiful baseball. They played alot better Saturday.

I went to the Alcorn vs LSU, and he was very impressive, but I think the other two are better. You can add Gram SS, C.Wolf to that list of best defensive players also. He has alot of range.

SU leads the league and is ranked in the top 15 in the country in Batting Average. Its just they stranding so many runners the last 3 weeks.

Being an Administrator has everything to do with how you respond to others, especially when they've never disrespected you. In addition to that, you're not like any other poster. Other posters can't add and delete when they get ready; other posters can't command posters to use respect and decorum on the sports forum; other posters can't ban someone for not following that guideline, so no, you're not like a regular poster. If I had the authority, you would've been PM'd for your unwarranted attack.

Any how, back to the subject at hand. As many mandates as Duer Sharp has made for each SWAC school, he could easily require each school to put in place live stats for their sports program or at least make the suggestion. It shouldn't be that difficult for him to do.
The SWAC office has the authority to purchase stat crew updates for it's members because it would be an investment that would benefit the conference as a whole. At the least, Sharp can make the decision to ask each of the schools to provide live stats for as many sports as possible.
Didn't Sharp recently purchase software equipment so each school could send video to upcoming conference opponents in a timely manner? If he could do that, it's not a stretch to say he couldn't purchase software for the first year to get schools jumpstarted and then require each school thereafter to provide software for live stats.
He could use some of the revenue from the SCG for the purchases. No one knows where the money's going anyhow.
This can't all be blamed on individual schools.
