What is it with the Heat's inability to win close games against teams above. 500?

It's obvious what the heat's main problem is..."bench"..... It has nothing to do with Bosh...

Well part of the reason they have no bench is because they committed so much money to Wade, Lebron, and Bosh, which is why they need all three of them to be great every night. I see they just signed Mike Bibby, which would be great if Bibby was still any good.

Better than Chalmers.

I never knew why so many people hype Chris Bosh as if he is the top PF in the league.

Look at how bad the Raptors are. At least the Cavs can yell injuries to thier horrible record.

The Heat forgot one thing-

You still need a BENCH
You still need players that listen to the coach (right Pistons?)

The Heat thought they were going to get a big three and teams would be scared of them. I guess the Mavs, Celtics and Bulls didn't get that memo. Aren't they still winless versus those 3?

If the heat win its the big 3, if the heat lose its the bench lol yall are a trip. Sounds like a bunch of excuses to me....

Nah Trey it's the truth....

That three are good enough to beat alot of teams with the majority of their efforts.... That only mean if they had a bench they should be blowing alot of those teams out by even larger margins... but they are losing not because of the big 3 efforts.. not when they are constantly having atleast 2 of the three hitting 30 and 25 a night and holding the opposite team to under 100. It's the bench brah'...

The bench does suck, but u cant blame the bench when lebron or wade cant hit the last shot. Who's fault is that?

The point is... if you had a good bench.. with the efforts of that big three it should very rarely come down to a last shot. I don't know why it's this huge thing about last shots when all you see on ESPN most of the time by the NBA stars are the shots they hit.. but you rarely see the ones they missed over and over... it happens... a 3 pointer isn't that high of a precentage shot to place the blame on a player "super star" or not for missing. Now you can blame them if they are having a poor night from the free throw line...

Even when Lebron was with the Cavs he missed shots. He had a bench then, right? Give this guy the ball in the last seconds of the game and you will lose point blank. A few weeks ago when the Heat played the Celtics, Lebron missed a free throw that couldve tied the game lol, was it the bench fault then?

Come on man.. it's obvious you hate the dude...The Cavs never had no bench.. you thinking about Boston...lol

But lets be realistic....If you are on a team where you are the best player.. and you giving your all every game.... scoring no less than 23 points a game.. a lot of times you hitting 30+... and you are playing defense... it's NEVER "your" fault... Yall let these clowns on ESPN that never played a lick of basketball and probably never got picked to play in a street pick up game mess yall minds up...

Last shot's have a lot to do with coaching as well... putting your key player in the right spot for the last shot... That last shot a few days ago Lebron took clearly was a poorly called play.. he had to fight too much just to get in position to even take the shot... when you have to do alot of that... even ya' boy Kobe will miss a lot of shots like that... Some of yall really under value Phil Jackson...

For real, what did Lebron do to you that has you filled with so much hate?

Only time it's a "super star" fault is when he is jacking up shots all game and missing horribly and not trusting your team mates.... We all know a certain somebody that is known for that....lol

I think this proves LeBron should get the ball with the game on the line.

forreal. he must have forgotten what Kobe was doing with the Lakers from 04-07. Jacking up terrible shots and throwing his teammates under the bus.

Must have.....That boy Kobe used to be doing some dumb shyt... even the folks that wasn't pulling for LA used to be like..."What in the hell is this kid doing"....

Depends on the volume of shots. It could prove that he defers TOO much in crunch time. That was sorta dude's point about him. Stuart Scott said the same thing on Mike and Mike this morning.

You don't think coaching plays a big part in these final shots? LA hits a lot of key bigs shots mainly because of the play that is drawn up... Fisher gets alot of them.. and be wide the hell open... Kobe get his in good spots..

Robert Horry used to stay open....in LA and San Antonio.. hence two great coaches..

People crowning his ass and he aint prove shit yet, thats what. And Kendrick you know numbers can be deceiving, them numbers aint helped him win a championship and he been the league 8 years...

Come on dude, besides not having a championship, Lebron has proven himself.

NO. There is no coach in the league that would say "LeBron don't take the shot... pass it to Mo Williams so he can jack something up."
