You mean to tell me religious folks can't agree on a simple subject as tithing?:emlaugh:
We can agree on one thing though, you definitely need God in your life. You are angry at him, and until you acknowledge that, you will always try to find fault in him. :lecture: The devil always find joy when he thinks the saints are not lined up.
I will flip the script on you. Read verse 5 again and know where the commandment came from.dacon. I think you need to read those verses you posted
slowly line by line and understand what each line means.
because you have just supported why they is no such thing as tithing today.
It says Sons of Levi commanded to take tithe, I thought you said God commanded tithe?
Clearly not. You are a religious man and we do not agree. You mean to tell me religious folks can't agree on a simple subject as tithing?:emlaugh:

I have been preaching for years and never in my life have I ever preached on giving.
I don't understand why folks flock to churches like that!!!!
Clearly not. You are a religious man and we do not agree.
I'm a religious man? I think not.
The only way that you could possibly come to that conclusion is that you don't read your own posts.
The worst deception is in deceiving oneself.
Dacon, don't be fooled by JayRob. He is the devil. He is Satan's favorite son.
Since you seem to know me more than I know myself, how am I religious?
I only know of you what you post here on TSPN. And with that said:

You, sir (like 99.9999999876% of the people in this world), are most definitely religious.
Cee Dog calls me an atheist (among other things:emlaughand you call me religious. Which is it? I may be spiritual, but I'm certainly not in the TRADITIONAL sense, religious.....nevertheless you're entitled to your own opinion regardless of how flawed it might be.
Answer: Both. Atheism is a religion.
This is what my pastor teaches about tithing.
Are you an atheist now? If not, why bring up the subject. Spiritualism and atheism are two different things...
Cee Dog calls me an atheist (among other things:emlaughand you call me religious...
Correct. Atheism is a religion and Spiritualism can be. I have never heard of a spiritualist who is not religious. I don't THINK that a spiritualist could be classified as not being religious. See the previously posted definition from the Merriam-Webster dictionary....Spiritualism and atheism are two different things...
That is usually how religious distinctions manifest themselves....As far as belonging to any religion, religious people have been known to "spin" more than the Bible. You can see it in even the minutest of arguments..

I don't care what Murrray teach -
"Religious" man I was thinking more in the way Paul uses religious in Act 17:22He uses the word deisedaimonestirous, from deido [deilos]to fear, and daimon[dimon] a demon, evil spirit: means demon-fearing, or given to the worship of demons. [inferior diety, evil spirit] “to fear dietyâ€
You may not care what he teaches, but you can't disagree with what he stated in reference to tithes either.
what did he say?
JayRob is Satan's son.
My pastor answered a question about tithing in the 3 minute video below. He gave a 5 star answer to a question about tithing and love offerings.
