Su being dealt with in their on stadium

I'm an AAMU alumni but thinks overall SU is the best band in the SWAC but my question is has SU left their home stadium on any other band besides AAMU 1999 during a 5th qtr battle because they got dealt with

:shame::shame: RANDOM SHYT STARTING AT IT'S FINEST! :lol: These dudes and ladies are about to hunt you, i know you know that....but to answer your question, yeah we did in 96...I'm not saying we blew them out or that they even ran, i'm just saying they left first...Afterwards we ate with them in their caf...it was pretty cool for two hbcu bands to be civil that night

SU left first a mnay of times before the other band in mumford... I marched from 96-99... We usually left first when Doc felt like it was a waste of his/our time.

But I agree with you... SU is the best band in the SWAC..

I dont even remember the aamu game from 99.. *shrugs* & that was my crab yr!
 
Not to take anything away from AAMU 99, but yall weren't even the best band we faced that year. Seriously, if you ask anybody that marched for SU in 99, not many remember that game including myself because AAMU didn't do anything special that night to garner the praise you guys are thinking you deserve. Now ask those same people that marched in 99 about the game in 2000 against FAMU and see the responses you get. You will know if you were doing something special in that corner cause we give props when someone does and that's just being real.
 
weren't yall crabs in 99? who remembers shat from their crab year? :lol: hell i know i dont' cause I was gettin my ass beat out the frame. I had to go back and watch tapes to see what happened in 98. And when has anyone even tried to garner praise? dude asked what other times did yall leave. This was my era, and i'm sensitive bout my shit, but I am not trying to get into a debate over that game, it was 10 years ago....but i do recall talkin about this game closer to the time it was played and these comments were different. I even remember specific comments from folk I know who are Juke off this board. but like I said, it doesn't matter to me, hell i was drunk as hell and don't remember much from that game anyways either, that was my neo year and i was just glad to be fresh off an ass whoopin. :jump:

Since you dug that up.. go post the footage from in front of SU while your at it...


AAMU for the most part was consistant during the late 90's..

99 was a heavy trumpet and mellophone band for them.. lower brass were weak...(Thanks for posting that to prove it)....

Jared I aint have to "dig" up nothing and didnt .... the clip was only posted in October... also I aint have to prove nothing...buddy said he didnt remember, I posted the clip... this clip wasnt "in front" of AAMU band... SU folks are the only ones who stand directly in front a band during the 5th quarter.... but I can post clips of the entire game.

I still stand by my statement. AAMU did nothing special and being a crab don't have nothing to do with me not thinking anything about that game. I vividly remember watching FAMU march one at a time into Bragg in 99 and doing their thing on the field, I also remember ALA St cranking up ESPN when we went there, I remember the J-State game, and I even remember the field show we did for AAMU that year because it was Homecoming and I lead the drill off. Like I said before, I'm not saying what I'm saying to be disrespectful but to curb all this SU you got dealt with stuff. Like I said ask anybody who marched in SU in 99 and 2000 and they will tell you the same thing. Crab or no Crab. BTW Dahill what did these clips prove?

So you dugg it up... thinking you was going to prove something.... How many times it needs to be posted??!?...

And the footage from in front SU has never been posted on here.. Kinda wish TapeMaster would get his hand on it so you can stop posting this trumpet and mello screaming band like it had the meat to deal with our blowing trumpet , Mellos off the wire Baritones, T-bones and Bass....

For years you been trying to get EVERYone to see things the way YOU see it with that same footage.... The shyt is close to AAMU and off to the side of SU... Folk with sense that heard footage of SU 99 from the JSU, FAMU and other games know yall weren't pushing what we were in 99.. AAMU was real good though the best entertainment we had in Mumford in a while Outside of 98 Alabama St. (The game we were suspended)...

Why even entertain this dude, he don't even like AAMU. The only bands that are entertaining to him are FAMU and BCC. So Dahill don't even have a dog in this fight, he's just trying to stir up the muck! Know who you are talking to first, This dude is not a fan of SWAC bands.

You must've never talked to anyone from SU about their crab year....:lol: Mofo's could've done 5 rips...remember everything about their crab year, but the last four be spotty as he!!.

Heck, it's so far on both sides of the spectrum it's kind of weird. You remember all the nightmarish isht. But, even with that...that made the year the best, cuz you made it out on the other side with all ya CB's and CS's, and kicked alot of arse while doing it.
