I know that all are not Ambulance Chasers and a lot of attorneys do the much needed work to help others, but like all professions, there are those that are just in it for the buck.

He could be the fall guy because SU band constantly is in the news for hazing, last spring 08 it was Southerns kkpsi chapter, the hazing that got KKSPI taken from SU again with only a few years of being reinstated, 05 Southern was in the media for hazing and now once again in Fall 08! How has Mr. Jackson took the proper precautions to warn member? Does SU have an anti-hazing agreement they sign or something? Yall love brushing sh!t under the rug and thinking nonchalant: that's why this situation continues to happen at SU!

I understand what your are saying, but don't come on here and make it sound like everybody at Southern ignores this crap, because we all know that Grambling has some places that need to be swept around its front door.
You listed all those things as an outsider and still claim it was brushed under the rug? You know about it because it was NOT brushed under the rug!

3. Yes there is a anti-hazing agreement, there is a anti-hazing discussion that takes place before the beginning of the year that includes school administrators, and if it even appears that any type of hazing is going on there have been sections wiped out.
Please let's not act like gSU hasn't had their share of incidents. :retard:

I would hope that I would have taught him to have enough common sense to not to do something like this that could cause great harm to someone. I would be upset with him and hopefully his punishment from the school wouldn't be too harsh. If it was harsh punishment, I couldn't do anything but tell him he as to be a man and except the choice that he made. The way I see it, life is about choices. Making the wrong choice can change your life dramatically.

Now If I found out he was hazed and not hospitalized, I may not be as angry. Not saying I condone hazing. Hazing can be mental as well as physical, but like I said life is about choices. If my son decides he wants to pledge Omega in college, I will let him know being an Omega Man is not an easy process and I will try to let him know what he's getting himself into.

usa today, you posted the same crap about the Kappa Kappa Psi chapter at Southern when you really don't know anything. Leave my chapter out of this because you really don't know what you are talking about. You have an opinion and I respect that but don't publicize things you don't know. Everything in the media is not what they appear to be. Since you know so much about my chapter, why are members of the chapter still marching in the band if they implicated in a hazing incident? BTW, SU chapter has NEVER been suspended for hazing. If you want to post isht, post the facts.

There is no fraternity. That is the dumb arse crap these new school cats have made up for their sections. So they think you have to pledge the section and the band. We didn't have that kind of BS when I marched in the Juke. Sure each section had their own thing going and had a nickname for the section. This crap is unacceptable and the new chancellor may just run off the entire staff. Who knows. Sounds like it happened off campus and I don't know what you can do about that as far the director controlling the situation. But surely some lawyer will have these parents suing everybody.
The media is going to go back and make like it has been a beatdown situation forever at SU which is not true. Hell, Doc would call the police on mofos himself if he found out you hazed like that. He stopped playing around with that crap towards the end of our time at SU and we never had no isht happen like that. :shame:
Might be a new Jukebox in 09.

Exactly frat. He don't know what the situation is with ZN. It aint even about this and thank goodness none of those fellas are involved that are in ZN that still march in the band. No one was thrown out the band from PSI. Hell the drum major is PSI. LOL. This is a straight up Mellophone section issue with those upperclassmen. None of which are PSI. ZN situation is a a separate issue.

When was ZN reinstated? Doc just decided to not have any damn lines after 93. They were not suspended for hazing or anything. Just Doc being Doc.
And nothing is being brushed under the rug. Doc always handled hazing seriously. I have seen him call the police on mofos in and out of the band before. So can that b.s.

Gramblings Band has a Hazing agreement that covers the bands azz and the directors! So i hope your'e not referring to that on our part! It must hit home because your'e taking it personal! Southerns Band stays in the media more than anything about hazing, hell something should have been done for years!

Southern's band has not been in the media for hazing consistently. Hell this is the first time I can remember them being in the media for hazing. FAMU is the one who was constantly in the media for hazing. Not us. We have had isolated incidents that got handled properly. The 4 band members jumping the ex band member and robbing him in 05 is not hazing. That is just stupid isht and a straight robbery. Dude wasn't even in the band. 01 and 95 never made any news. Hell this is my first time even hearing about those 2 incidents. I read the Advocate everyday and never saw those incidents written up. So stop with the SU band is always in the media for hazing. Besides the PV incident.This is the only incident with the band I have seen printed.
