The SWAC is bringing the full HBCU football experience straight to fans’ screens in 2026.
The SWAC officially unveiled its 2026 SWAC TV football schedule, featuring 50 regular-season matchups that will stream live on the conference’s free digital platform. From opening weekend through Thanksgiving Day, fans won’t have to miss a moment of the action.
The season kicks off on Saturday, August 29, with a four-game slate that sets the tone early.
Grambling State hosts Clark Atlanta in what should be a strong opening test, while Florida A&M welcomes Albany State to Tallahassee. Arkansas-Pine Bluff meets Morehouse in a Classic matchup, and Alcorn State squares off against Miles to round out opening day.
As the calendar flips to September and October, the schedule rolls into full gear with a mix of non-conference battles and key SWAC showdowns.
Prairie View A&M hosts Stephen F. Austin, while Jackson State welcomes Tuskegee in a matchup that blends tradition and intrigue. Other notable games include Texas Southern traveling to Alcorn State, Alabama A&M facing Florida A&M, and Southern taking on Prairie View A&M and Texas Southern in back-to-back conference tests.
Homecoming season will also be in full effect across the conference, with several of those celebrations featured on SWAC TV. Bethune-Cookman hosts Virginia Lynchburg, Southern welcomes Arkansas-Pine Bluff, and Grambling State faces Alcorn State in a rivalry matchup that always carries extra weight.
Additional Homecoming games include Arkansas Baptist at Alcorn State, Bethune-Cookman at Mississippi Valley State, and Alabama State traveling to Arkansas-Pine Bluff.
By November, the stakes will only get higher.
