Former Bethune-Cookman women’s basketball standout Kayla Clark has inked a professional women’s basketball contract overseas.

Clark signed to play in Spain to join DOC GardenStore Baloncesto Sevilla Femenino in Seville.

CB Sevilla Femenino, known as DOC GardenStore Sevilla for sponsorship purposes, competes in the Spanish Liga Femenina 2 – the second professional women’s basketball division in Spain.

Last season, the team finished second in the regular season with a 20-6 overall record, en route to a 2-1 mark in the Playoff-A stage two. CB Sevilla Femenino eventually fell in the final to Unibasket Logrono, who finished atop Playoff-B in stage two.

Clark, a 6-foot-3 center from Miami, Florida, helped Bethune-Cookman to an appearance in the 2025 Southwestern Athletic Conference Tournament after recording a team second-most 256 points (8.3 per game), second-highest 220 rebounds (7.1 per game) – seventh-most in the league, going on to lead the team in blocks (32) as well.

Clark shot 44.7 percent from the field throughout her career, tallying 905 points, 877 rebounds, 136 steals, and 88 blocks across four seasons.

Under the guise of Janell Crayton Del Rosario, recently completing her fourth year as head coach of the Wildcats women’s basketball program, Clark represents her first student-athlete to sign a professional contract since arriving in Daytona Beach – and B-CU’s first since becoming a member of the SWAC.

“Kayla [Clark] was a pivotal part of our program across four years, and her loyalty to the program was unmatched,” said Crayton Del Rosario. “As a staff, we are so excited and proud of her, and we wish her the very best, knowing she’s going to do great things in the future, not only representing this program to the highest level of professionalism, but also the university as a proud alum.”
