Former Morgan State running back Alfonzo Graham’s hard work is paying off, as he has signed an undrafted free-agent contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
“Officially a steeler,” said Graham upon the announcement of his signing with the Steelers. “Signed.”
Graham’s contract offer materialized as a direct outcome of his impressive performance during the team’s rookie minicamp tryout. He earned the opportunity after accepting an invitation from the organization subsequent to the 2023 NFL Draft.

The former Bear transferred to Morgan State from Fullerton College in 2020. In eight games at Fullerton, Graham recorded 278 rushing yards averaging 5.2 yards per carry, and scoring two touchdowns.
This past season, Graham finished with 1,150 rushing yards and scored eight touchdowns, being named to the All-MEAC First Team.
He now becomes the second MEAC player to sign as an undrafted free agent this offseason, along with South Carolina State wide receiver Shaquan Davis.
