Over 11,000 votes were tabulated in response to the HBCU Sports fan poll question, “Which band won the 2015 Queen City Battle of the Bands?”

Question….Why isn’t it fair? Is it because the team you wanted to win did not get the majority of the votes?

I am curious to know why the previous comment writer is salty. Miles by far was the best band. I like AAMU however, their music selection is too conservative for battle of bands. This is a battle of bands meaning you should be aggressive with your selections. They sound crisp and balanced but that is for a concert band setting. You want to energize the crowd and get them out of their seats. AAMU gave a great field show but Miles showed great versatility. They can as you would say get “crunk” and play balanced. This allows your young people to remain youthful and creative in their music.

All the bands were AWESOME but Miles College was captivating. Their win was earned.
