Former Prairie View A&M quarterback Jerry Lovelocke drew rave reviews for his performance at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis.
Lovelocke, one of 15 quarterbacks invited to the Combine, put up some impressive numbers during individual drills and workouts.
Lovelock finished the 2014 season with 2,473 passing yards and 16 touchdowns to nine interceptions He earned invitations to the Gridiron Showcase Game, as well as the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl.
“It’s actually phenomenal,” Lovelocke told NFL.com “Just being at this level and being blessed to be here on a national stage and competing against all these guys from the bigger schools. Just to get a lot of questions people had about me. Like ‘Could he compete at the next level?’ and things like that.”
