A highly ranked girls’ high school basketball prospect is heading to an HBCU.
Janiyah Weaver, a 6-foot-6 wing player from Morrow, Georgia, announced her commitment to North Carolina A&T Tuesday. Weaver was deciding between St. John’s, Alabama, the University of Delaware, Central Florida and Bethune-Cookman before choosing A&T.
