Add another name to an already stocked quarterback room for Delaware State.
Samari Collier, who received a temporary restraining order against the NCAA last month for another year of eligibility, announced via his Instagram account that he has committed to DSU.

Collier, a native of Dallas, Texas, committed to Illinois in 2021, but left the program without playing a down in 2022.
He spent three seasons as Hutchinson Community College in Kansas, leading them to a JUCO national title in 2024, after decommitting from Louisiana. He joined Coastal Carolina for the 2025 season and played in seven games, totaling over 900 yards of offense and 14 touchdowns.
Collier will compete for the starting quarterback job with returners Jayden Sauray and Marqui Adams as well as William & Mary transfer Noah Brannock.
Delaware State opens their season Thursday Aug. 29 at Alumni Stadium against Stony Brook.
