The spotlight will shine on some of the best baseball and softball talent in HBCU athletics this weekend as the sixth annual Minority Prospects HBCU All-Star Game returns to Charlotte, North Carolina.
Scheduled for Friday, June 5, and Saturday, June 6, the event has grown into one of the premier showcases for HBCU athletes looking to take the next step in their playing careers. The annual gathering brings together standout players from colleges and universities across the country, giving them an opportunity to compete against elite competition while performing in front of professional scouts and evaluators.
More than just an all-star game, the event serves as a celebration of HBCU athletics and culture.

Players, coaches, families, and supporters from across the HBCU landscape come together for a weekend designed to highlight the achievements of student-athletes both on and off the field.
For many participants, the showcase provides a valuable opportunity to increase their visibility among Major League Baseball organizations and other professional leagues. Previous editions of the event have helped players gain exposure while showcasing the depth of talent across HBCU baseball and softball programs.
As anticipation builds for this year’s festivities, Minority Prospects has officially unveiled the rosters for the 2026 HBCU All-Star Game. The teams feature a mix of standouts from the SWAC, MEAC, SIAC, CIAA, NAIA, and independent HBCU programs, representing some of the top talent in Black college baseball and softball.
