The Virginia Union Panthers celebrated homecoming with a usual dominant performance over the Lincoln (PA) Lions, coming away with a 66-21 victory.

Virginia Union extends its homecoming win streak to 13 games with this being the seventh time it has beaten Lincoln during that streak.

The Panthers also extend their home win streak to eight games dating back to 2023, marking the longest active streak in the CIAA.

Star running back Curtis Allen added another standout performance to his 2025 campaign, rushing for 208 yards and scoring three touchdowns.

This is the third time in the past four games that Allen has rushed for over 200 yards while also continuing his streak of games with at least two rushing touchdowns, having done so in every game so far this season.

Quarterback RJ Rosales had his strongest passing game of the season, throwing for 247 yards, completing 70% of his passes, and scoring five total touchdowns (three passing touchdowns).

Virginia Union started the game hot offensively, scoring touchdowns on each of its first three drives, including a pair of rushing touchdowns by Rosales, to build a 21-0 lead entering the second quarter.

Though, Lincoln would show some fight, led by quarterback Hamas Duren, scoring three touchdowns in the second quarter to trim its deficit to 24-21.

The Lions’ second touchdown drive was set up by an interception from Zaheer Seabrooks, giving them their best starting field position of the game.

However, the Panthers would take back the momentum before the end of the first half, scoring on a 24-yard pass connection from Rosales to Keon Davis to go up 31-21.

In the third quarter, Virginia Union’s defense produced a pair of interceptions (both by Jymere Melendez), each leading to offensive touchdowns to extend the lead to 45-21.

The Panthers would put the game completely out of reach with two more third quarter touchdowns and limiting Lincoln’s offense to under 10 yards on four of their next five drives.

Virginia Union will remain home for its next contest, aiming to maintain its unbeaten conference record in a matchup against Virginia Union.
