With the much-anticipated “HBCU Battle of the Legends” gridiron game between Delaware State and Norfolk State, Hornets fans can wear jerseys that bear the number of the school’s newest football coach.
The jerseys, on sale now, bear the No.10 that DSU head coach DeSean Jackson wore as an NFL All-Pro wide receiver for the Philadelphia Eagles.
Alumni, students, and supporters will have a variety of jerseys to choose from and wear at the game at Lincoln Financial Field, home of the Philadelphia Eagles.

The “HBCU Battle of Legends” game will be the first time in HBCU sports history that two former NFL All-Pros – Jackson and former Eagles quarterback Michael Vick – square off as head coaches.
“It’s an honor to have my former jersey number on DSU gear,” said Jackson. “This is a new era of Delaware State football. We’re excited to see our fans repping gear not only in support of the Hornets but also for this next chapter for HBCUs.”
“Our athletics department could not be more thrilled to unveil these DeSean Jackson DSU jerseys,” said Tony Tucker, DSU Athletic Director. “The ‘HBCU Battle of Legends’ has multiple storylines: former Eagles teammates as opposing head coaches, renewed rivalries in MEAC football. The excitement is just beginning, and the season hasn’t even started yet.”
Jersey prices range from $60 for a small size to $130 for a 6XL. Due to the limited inventory, customers are encouraged to place their orders by July 8 by visiting www.hbcudsu.com.
