Delaware State University has announced that its highly anticipated football matchup against Norfolk State University will be played at Lincoln Financial Field, home of the Philadelphia Eagles, on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets were made available to the public starting at 10 a.m. on June 17.
This event marks the first head-to-head meeting as head coaches between Eagles legends DeSean Jackson (Delaware State) and Michael Vick (Norfolk State), both of whom are in their inaugural seasons leading their respective Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) football programs.
The game was originally scheduled for Delaware State’s Alumni Stadium but was moved to the NFL venue due to overwhelming fan interest and the significance of the matchup.
University leaders and the Philadelphia Eagles organization have highlighted the importance of this game, calling it a milestone for HBCU football and a unique opportunity to showcase the talent and legacy of both institutions on a national stage.
The matchup is expected to draw significant attention, celebrating the rich tradition of HBCU athletics and the new chapter for two of the most celebrated players in Eagles history now turned head coaches.
