Brenson becomes the latest Tiger to transfer out following the departure of Eddie George to Bowling Green. George has since been replaced by veteran HBCU coach Reggie Barlow.
A native of St. Louis, Missouri, Brenson caught 71 passes for 1006 yards and six touchdowns, helping the Tigers win a share of their first conference championship since 1999 and a trip to the FCS playoffs for the first time since 2013.
The 6’2, 215-lb. Brenson had three 100-yard receiving games for TSU in 2024, including catching 11 passes for 122 yards and two touchdowns in the Tigers’ 41-27 first-round loss to Montana.
